Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITF)
What are Unit Investment Trust Funds or UITF?
A Unit Investment Trust Fund (UITF) is a collective investment scheme typically offered by banks. “Collective investment” means money from various investors are pooled together into and invested as one fund to achieve a specific investment objective.
UITFs are good investment vehicles for people who have no time or expertise to do actual trading since professional investment managers are the ones managing the fund on a day-to-day basis.
