How Much Do I Need to Live in a Condo?

Hi! I just want to ask kung magkano ba ang dapat na capital (i don't know the right term) to live in a condo/ to have a condo unit? I was planning to move into one kasi so your suggestions/answers would be very helpful.

It depends kasi, pero I suggest, kung kukuha ka ng unit, kailangan pasok sa VAT 3.2M Threshold. Para makatipid ka, and yung matitipid mo, pwede mong gamitin sa ibang bagay, eg: indoor furniture, appliances, etc.

to move in, you either have to buy or rent
depende yan sa condo, location, size, density, amenities, atbp.
kaya merong mura, merong mahal
gaya kunwari ng ayala, sa kanila pa lang meron ng mumurahin meron ding mamahalin. expensive to affordable:

saang location balak mo kumuha ng condo?

yung nag rent ng condo ko balak huminto na kasi lumipat ng work site, kung gusto mo, ikaw na mag rent sa unit ko o kaya bilhin mo same nung price ng pagbili ko 1M (nakuha ko yan pre-selling pa kaya mura, 30 sq m yung unit). bali may monthly assoc dues na 900. tapos yung water at electric bill depende na sa consumption mo ang babayaran mo.  :watchuthink:

to give you an idea naman sa high end, well pwedeng umabot ng 40M or more
association dues (NOT rent) naman dun pwedeng 30K or more per month

 isa sa mga project ng empire east land holdings.

look at essensa, pacific plaza towers, ritz carlton, one serendra, etc

You need to have a choice as to
location
unit type (studio, 1BR, 2BR)
amenities
furnished or unfurnished?
bare (no partitions) or standard (partitioned if 1BR or 2BR)?
Also, do you have a specific developer in mind?

If you live in a 20, or 30 or 40 square meter Condo in Makati CBD, studio or 1-2 bedrooms
how much is the association dues (per sqm)
how much is the meralco bill (usually with aircon)
how much is the water bill (usually kasama sa na assoc dues, di ba?)
how much is the real estate property taxes (Makati raw ang most expensive eh, how is this computed ba?)

So far yan lang nakikita kong monthly expenses, nakakatakot kasi parang ang mahal, ang matitipid ko lang is oras ng byahe at pamasahe kasi walking distance na to work and di na ako ma-t-traffic at di na mapapagod.

Suggested Condos: along or near Buendia, Ayala, Pasong Tamo, Makati Avenue
Cheap? - Cityland Dela Rosa, Makati Executive Tower, Kingswood, Palm Towers
Middle? - Avida West, Belton, Oriental Place, Beacon, Lorenzo Place

Pinakamura ata 8K/month studio type katulad ng officemate overall expenses nya 11-12k wala pang foods =).. Ang monthly income nya 8+,000K =) mas ok kung kumuha ka na lang ng sarili mong unit 3 years lang lipat ka na or rent to own or yung mga RFO na... Buti nakinig ako sa payo ng kaibigan kong chinese compute mo yung gastos mo sa pagtravel vs condo pag mas malaki gastos sa travel lipat ka na sa condo para may pad ka na sa chix mode =)
