Specifically Property managers or managers working in the real estate industry
Sobrang busy ba sila?
Hour many hours a day do they work on the average? Do they work for 10 hours a day and 6 days a week?

didn't they always play, do they? (if they had team to manage)

they always play team member's mind, muscles and including their own time...

....to do most of the thinking, the energy to find solutions and alternative on how the company will work and take edge against company competitors!
... they push.. push.. and push...
:D

well, basically, one should work only as prescribed in the office manual - where you are paid for, unless you own the company.

depends strictly on the individual
some are more successful than others
and make money for less work

depends on the properties being managed and the clientele

so in other words,
a manager of a company (middle manager not top level) may not be required to be physically present in the office 8 hours a day, kahit 4 hours lang siyang magwork in a day, but mentally present and works 24/7?

most property managers whom i know in the philippines are independent brokers who also do property management
they go out and find property owners who intend to lease their properties, either short or long term
then they turn around and find prospective tenants
they show the property, negotiate terms, and draw up contracts
most work on their own, or might have an assistant or two
this type of work requires more field work than presence in the office
until such a time that the property manager has enough properties to manage that he/she no longer looks to add more properties to manage.

there are also companies that are hired to manage condo/townhouse developments, buildings, malls, etc.
typically, they perform building administration and maintenance with a staff size dependent on property size or number of units. some companies are big enough to manage several property developments. are you asking about management positions in this type of an organization?

Wow thank you for this detailed answer
and yes I am asking about management positions in this type of an organization, I mean managing a building/property

The reason kasi why I am asking, is I am planning to be one in my career, pero first I am trying to find out the work load and schedule, in this type of job, still planning pa nga lang haven't decided yet
