Saan po ba pwede iinvest ang 50K to gain 6k a year

Very conservative investor ako so I can't tolerate the volatility in the stock market or even equity funds
Saan po ba maganda, sa TD kasi maliit lang returns

You might find a coop or a SLA giving that high of a dividend.
AFPSLAI for instance gave 15% as dividends in 2013.

may small biz bang sure kikita ng 6K na walang masyadong participation on my part, like on auto-pilot lang siya?

^ wala. The idea of doing business is that you will be hands-on.  But the returns are high if you do well with your small biz.  My small business is an online shop, for every batch of orders, I get net of 25% return. That means for a 50k capital, you get 12.5k, pero kelangan magbanat ng buto sa biz, not enough na may capital ka. I do this online biz precisely because I want high yields for the short term, pero kelangan may kasamang effort. cheers and good luck!

@the_minion, I wasn't sure if you were joking or not.
Seriously? a coop? you don't know what a coop is?
Cooperative

If you work in a regular local firm, there's probably a coop
you can join.

SLA are savings and loans associations like AFPSLAI, PSSLAI
or AMWSLAI

They can give big returns because they charge a lot for loans.
Downside is, membership is restricted.

If you are conservative like me, then the most you can earn in a year will be 3K for a P50K 5 Year Term TD with a 6% Interest at Bank of Makati which currently has the highest rates and is also a rural bank ...

@the_minion - Agree with @ManilaBoy40 here. Kung conservative ang risk tolerance mo, you should be ready for a smaller amount of return. There is always a correlation between risk and return meaning the lower the risk, lower the return and vice versa. Otherwise EVERYONE would get into the low risk and high return.

@thelittlecoolshop said it right, wala talagang auto-pilot na kikita ka ng 12% without much effort. May mga kaya mag auto-pilot ng income pero it took them years of hard work to build up and even then hindi pa din siya hands off.

Starting off with Bank of Makati is a good option. Just to be sure don't go over the Php500,000 insured by the PDIC. Meaning if ever the bank closes, the maximum amount you can recover is Php500,000.

By the way, before investing, have you built up your emergency funds?

Good luck on investing!

Pwede naman rin bond funds......... although fluctuating rin price but way less volatile compared to equity funds.

It's just a matter of choosing the perfect company that  "constantly" gives a higher return, comparing it to the not so giving high returns. Obviously choosing those companies that constantly gains 10% and above per year if possible is definitely a good choice.

You're seeing just a part of the picture sir.
Medyo abnormal ang bond returns sa 2013.

Hindi normal ang double digit returns sa bond funds.
