They offer both MT4, MT5 and binary option platform. They also accept multiple base currencies (USD, EUR, PHP, JPY, AUD, GBP, HKD, CHF). MT4 setup superfast! Smallest spread I've seen at 0.3 though I am not sure yet if this is ECN and if there's commission charged per lot. They also have the so called "Money Changer" account which allows you to convert currencies quicker, easier and more secure (as they claim). MetisEtrade trading accounts are interest bearing accounts at 2.3% annually. Minimum deposit at P10,000 (more or less $250). My first impression - impressed! It should not take more than 24 hours for Skrill.

How about for bank?

I don't know actually but I believe it should take 24 hours plus 2-5 days depending on the receiving bank.

What do you mean by "you cannot withdraw through skrill kasi I used prepaid"?
Yes you will need swift and beneficiary bank probably. You can find them on your bank's website.
IBAN is an identifier code used mostly used by European banks only, your bank in PH won't need this therefore.
not on location but in your bank. You are welcome!  :)

Coz I asked the live chat and they told me di daw makakapag withdraw using moneybookers if you used prepaid deposit. Ah okay I thought per branch ng bank yung swift code.

Is this EON? You would just need Swiftcode for that. Beneficiary Bank is also not needed.

Oanda - I never used this broker, ferrari and Prospera used this I think.

You plan to switch? Why? Not satisfied with Admiral?

Actually kasi during my demo and I even study about it for a year and I always win but during live I lose I'll just try in other brokers lang yung mababa lang muna starting medyo mabigat kasi $100 (if ever may mas mababa pang initial deposit dito)

I think that a normal scenario for forex traders who both traded with demo and live account. Trades have demo account have no effect in the real market conditions unlike with live wherein you are in competition - with your broker if it's a market maker, or with bigger banks for ECN (though not directly).

Brokers with low minimum deposit ba kamo? Madami nyan!

Like XEMarkets, FBS, Forex4you, and Instaforex.
And Exness for which you started a new thread - it's not regulated but they've been existing for a long time and I never heard negative feedback so far.

Yung TusarFX na gamit ni tankbeta, they have cent accounts and no deposit bonus offer. They are the ones who acquired the former FxClearing brokerage.

Bakit ayaw sa MB? If this is a problem with your address verification, you can send a scan copy of the welcome letter they sent to you. That means you received their letter at your specified address.

@ally_barbie; bank wire do cost money, roughly $20-40 fee.

if you want micro account with low deposit of $1, oanda can be a good start. i think yung basic dun is just $1-25, forgot ko na kasi matagal na ako di gumagamit nyan, even forgot how much i deposited sa initial during my practice days.

with oanda as well, you can use paypal. anu ba prepaid card mo? is it an eon? then you should have a paypal account.

sa demo, as other have said, the trading result will differ kasi may emotion na involved when using real money. when i was starting out, i never used demo account. i opted to use a micro account to demo with, so i'll have a good feel of what i can expect when trading live.

IF local branch system/rules/policy are base on its non-domestic main branch AND non-domestic main branch  system/rules/policy are base on Europe/USA"Regulators" THEREFORE local branch system/rules/policy are base on  Europe/USA"Regulators" ............. mahina ako sa english ah paki correct n lng kung may mali

In addition to that of batangpromdi, if your funds is lower than $100, I don't think Admiral Markets would facilitate withdrawal via bank wire. Normally it's $500 above ang allowable withdrawal via bank wire forex or binary option.

@ect1.. relax... The last time I checked there is no minimum withdrawal in Paypal via bank wire. It only has fees for funds withdrawn below $500. Seminars? Why not, it's a marketing strategy!

For me there is no problem with new brokers. It's normal if somebody would want to start their new business or expand their current ones. Nasasayo din yan kung madali kang maloloko. Pwede naman sa simula maliit tapos palaki ng palaki if you're having no problems especially with withdrawals. Yang Pepperstone, di ba bago lang din yan - they started as IB of Axitrader but they manage to become an independent broker because of their service and low pricing.

they may allow , pero if $100 nga lang yung funds mo, and as i stated, based to sa broker ko, you will be charged roughly $20-40 or even higher, then above all that, there are additional fees like doc stamp and receiving fees charged by the local bank. more or less, sa $100 if bank wire, expect $50-65 na lang. kaya hindi rin advisable yan.

if you are new to forex, i would suggest you start small, say $200-$300. your first task is to double that money. say you started with $200, make it $400, then withdraw $200. so risk free ka na and may peace of mind ka pa.

many traders fail kasi puro sila isip ng mga bagay na hindi naman dapat. the moment na nag-deposit ng pera, worried na agad paano mababawi. why even bother depositing in the first place if wala ka man lang ginawang research about the broker?

by the way, payong kapatid lang, make sure to have a few other income streams aside from trading, just in case huminto ang trading (forex, stocks, etc.). may nabalitaan kasi ako tungkol jan. totoo man o hindi, mas mabuti na yung handa.

$37 yung charge sa akin when i make bank wire withdrawal. kaya i make sure na yung ibang pips ko, can cover the charge. wala kasi paypal yung pepperstone. then palpak pa debit card ng metrobank. hindi naman pala pwede yun for direct online transfer.

malaki rin yung nawawala sa akin, $111 if 3x a month ako mag-withdraw. but i don't have to stressed about it na lang, and focus more sa trading.

anlaki naman yata nung $37. Malaki nga pag 3 times a month, big time k nga siguro hehe....
Metrobank debit card - yan yung bago di ba? If that's the case, I wonder why you can't do that for direct online transfer since it has Mastercard logo.
If that's ATM card with Maestro logo (or no logo), yes you can't use that...

Bka nakalimutan na yung recent update nitong thread. Here it is again:

Yes nga. I thought I can use moneybookers pero ilang beses ko ng kinonfirm sa live chat pero pag prepraid daw talaga yung mode of deposit, bank wire lang ang withdrawal na pwede. BPI kasi gamit ko so what I did is nag withdraw ako sa account ko then nag send ako sa BDO ganun lang. Kaya I am looking for a broker na mababa lang minimum kasi bago palang ako kasi to be honest $100 medyo malaki na specially now bumababa economy ng pilipinas.

may policy ata most brokers that within the first 60 days, if you use debit/credit card to deposit, the fund can only be returned to that same card. how long have you been with the broker? after 60 days na ba since nag-deposit ka?

if you can't lose a $100 sa forex trading, might as well find something else to do. im just being straight forward. kasi sa $100 nga lang parang highly emotional ka na, what more pa kaya mas malaking account?

but then, that's just an opinion. try applying sa oanda muna. yang bpi mo is that an e-prepaid card? pwede ata yan sa paypal. oanda can get you started with just $25, the you can control custom lot size.

its nice to see another fellow trader from the same broker hotforex :) its been a while :) last month ata nag invest pinsan ko sa isang local broker ng 10k tas Indonesian based broker sya, pinawithdraw ko lahat ng pera nya! ok lng mag karoon ng local broker saten dito na tapat man lng sana na mag bbenifit tlga tayo! ADM and TRADEPOINT are expanding here, of course lahat ng mga broker na yan nag hahanap ng clients. wel kanya kanyang opinion nmn but id rather stick with what works for me and trade with an online regulated broker like hotforex :) wala pa ako binabayaran na tax :D

Update: I do not know if WorldWideMarkets is opening a branch here but they are welcoming Filipino traders already through their contact email reserved for Filipino traders: Philippines@worldwidemarkets.com

They also sponsored a post here at PMT: http://www.pinoymoneytalk.com/worldwidemarkets-forex-trading/

They offer $25 survey bonus for Filipinos too. WorldWideMarkets does not deny that they're a market maker (like Oanda). They are regulated and registered under FCA UK.

Newbie here. Just like to ask which Forex Broker you recommend. And what is the advantage and disadvantage of local broker vs international broker? Thanks in advance

Newbie here too, need guidance from the pros...
I made several inquiries from my Stock Broker COL and they told me that ALL FX brokers listed at the start of this thread (Admiral Markets, etc. and etc.) are ONLY representative offices or liaison offices such that their local SEC registration in Phils is only a sort of an Information OR Servicing / Consultancy office only.
In effect our funds is held in the offshore bank accounts of such principal broker instead of being held in a local bank unlike the Stock brokers, so my a bit worrisome.
There is NO local SEC registered FX Broker why?
Accordingly it is still fine if an FX Broker is overseas if there is a Filipino owner (or part-owner) whom we can ran after when there are problems especially on funds or withdrawals problems, is it correct?
Of course it is really better if there is a 100% Filipino-owned FX Broker.
Please advice, thank you.

FXP have office here already too?

XEMarkets coming to Manila on Nov 12.

Whats up with XE Markets in Philippines recently?

Btw these FX Brokers operating in Phils, do they have Filipino businessman partners we can rely on to secure our funds with them?

Just did some research and it turns out there are NO Licensed LOCAL FX BROKERS in town because the SEC does NOT provide Margin Trading FX BROKERs such LICENSE to any entity locally, except to the banks FX desks as provided for by BSP and PDS special Licensing. ALL local offices of so-called FX Brokers are only representative or information center or a liaison office of an offshore-registered FX broker principal etc. etc.
There are LEGIT Inter-Dealer Brokers like Tullett Prebon, ICAP etc. but they are not margin-system trading and for full VALUE trading only for institutional clients only, not for retail like us folks..
Even the so-called FX DEALER License of *****E-Trade in Ortigas, as they claim to be BSP License, but its only a Foreign Exchange Dealer or Money Changer License and NOT a Margin Trading FX Broker License.
So folks WATCH OUT for such similar representations..
Actually its NO BIG DEAL whether an FX Margin Trading broker has a License or NOT what is important is you feel SAFE and secured with your money in that broker (LOCAL or OFFSHORE).
We will only feel more secured if ever in future there will be an FX Broker (whether local or offshore) owned and operated by a reputable Filipino businessman residing here locally (we can ran after easily) and adopting the new business model of Zero Commission and Tight Spreads so clients has better chances of making money and that money made is easily withdrawn...
According to a popular TV show...WISH KO LANG...

TZH is not an FX Broker its only a Corporate IB of FXCM in Philippines.

:watchuthink:

hanggang ngayon sir ay di pa confirmed yung application ko sa oanda. looks like their customer service people like working at their own pace. wala na silang sense of urgency sa pag-acquire ng bagong customers. sa metis oks na, magdedeposit na ako bukas. nag-apply ako dati sa marketing, zero knowledge pa ako sa forex nun.  :hihi:
