Is Nicolas Cage a vampire — “some sort of walking undead” — who was already alive during the 1870s and was captured in a photo now being sold on auction site eBay?
Vintage photo collector Jack Mord used those words to describe a supposedly authentic 1870 photo he is selling on eBay which shows a man eerily resembling Nicolas Cage, star of hit movies Leaving Las Vegas, Con Air, Face/Off, and Ghost Rider.

Who are the winners of the 2011 UAAP Cheerdance Competition?
The UP Pep Squad won the 2011 championship with their Madonna-inspired theme. This means the UP squad has already achieved 7 championships all in all — just one championship away from tying with UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe’s eight (8) unprecedented championships.
A surprising second was DLSU Animo Squad while FEU Cheering Squad failed to match their feat last year when they only placed 3rd this year.

Filipino singing sensation Charice Pempengco recently guested again on the Oprah show to promote her self-titled album, Charice.
She sat down with Oprah Winfrey to talk about her journey from being an unknown child singer in the Philippines to a global star. Music producer and songwriter David Foster was also present, full of praises for Charice. With tears welling up in his eyes, Foster shared that she has asked him to be his godfather. Teary-eyed Charice profusely thanked Foster in return.
In front of the Oprah audience, Charice performed her single “Pyramid” together with Iyaz.
A taped interview with teen sensation Justin Bieber was also shown during the episode.

Paramore concert VIP ticket scam?

Got a message from a PMT Forum member today about the supposed VIP ticket scam relating to the Paramore concert in Manila last March 9. Several VIP ticket holders who paid P10,000 each were complaining that they did not enjoy the benefit of being a VIP.
It appeared that the VIP ticket holders, who were supposed to be located near the stage, were simply lumped together with the Gold ticket holders who paid P3,950. Worst, some VIP ticket holders were even positioned behind the Gold ticket holders.
