Limited edition Php100 bills with UP centennial logo

Yesterday I finally got hold of my UP Centennial commemorative 100-peso bank notes.
In celebration of the centennial of the University of the Philippines, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas printed limited copies of P100 bills with an overprint of the UP Oblation, the symbol of the country’s premier state university, to the right of former Philippine Pres. Manuel Roxas.
I got four, uncut pieces of P100 bills but I paid P1,000 so basically I paid a premium of P150 on each bill. I just hope the bills will increase in value over time. I’m thinking I’d sell each P100 bill for P1,000 or probably even P10,000 some years later. Hehe.
The package come with a protective plastic and folder. The four-piece set is being sold for P1,000 at the UP Alumni Center. There are only 10,000 sets printed so if you want to get your own copy, grab one now.

@Biske, I can buy it for you — that is, if they still have sets available for sale. Contact me via email if you want me to buy one for you.
@homebuddy, as far as I know, they are still selling it. Grab one if you like it, it might increase in value in the future so look at it as an investment.

i got mine at the alumni relations office at fonacier hall. the UPAA office at Bahay ng Alumni was all out.
They’re still selling for Php1,000 but the lady told me that next month they’re increasing the price by Php500.

I got my uncut notes last April but I want to buy a couple more sets.. P1,500 per set na ito after June 30.
