According to Forbes Magazine’s list of the World’s Richest People in 2013, there are 1,426 billionaires this year. That list identifies people having net worth of at least $1 billion. Take note, in dollars!
Out of the 1,426 billionaires, 29 or roughly 2% have the outstanding feat of being part of the list although they have not yet reached the age of 40.

Forbes Magazine recently published its annual list of the World’s Richest People and in that list dominated by American billionaires, a Mexican tycoon proved to be the richest of them all, while a Filipino billionaire ranks 68th richest in the world.
The Forbes list now includes 1,426 billionaires, up 200 from last year’s list (see Top 10 List of World’s Richest People 2012). The United States again populates the list with 442 billionaires, followed by the Asia Pacific region with 386, Europe with 366, the Americas with 129, and Middle East and Africa with 103.

Judging by Forbes Magazine’s 2012 list of the highest-paid celebrities, it seems the key to amassing huge wealth if you are in the entertainment industry is to neither be in center stage nor directly facing the camera.
Of course, no one can argue that that being an actor, actress, or singer pays relatively a lot. Just ask singers Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and actors Kristin Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner who all received two-digit million-dollar incomes in the past year alone and earned for themselves the distinction Highest Paid Young Stars of 2012.

Being rich does not depend on gender, occupation, or age — as seen in the recent Forbes magazine’s list of the Top 10 highest paid stars under the age of 30. Six on the list are females, three are males; and 7 out of the 10 stars are singers, with only 3 being Hollywood celebrities.

According to the 2012 list of the World’s Richest Persons published by Forbes Magazine, there are now 1,226 billionaires worlwide with a total net worth amounting to $4.6 trillion.
The monetary power of these billionaires is as large as the total Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of India, the world’s 2nd most populous nation which registered a 2011 GDP of $4.47 trillion. The combined net worth of the 1,226 billionaires is also way more than the combined GDPs of 127 poorest countries in the world.
The Forbes list is dominated by the same people, with three new ones entering the Top 10 this year.

Forbes Magazine recently released its annual Top 400 list of the Richest Americans and, according to them, the combined net worth of these wealthy United States citizens amounts to $1.53 trillion.
Now here’s what this figure means: the total wealth of the 400 richest Americans is almost equivalent to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of one country alone, that is, Canada, the 9th largest economy in the world.

And now there are eleven.
From five (5) Pinoy billionaires in last year’s list of the 40 Richest People in the Philippines, the 2011 Forbes magazine’s list of Filipino billionaires now has a total of eleven (11).
The five billionaires from last year are still there: shopping mall magnate Henry Sy is still No 1. Lucio Tan of PAL, Fortune Tobacco and Eton Properties remains at No. 2 while John Gokongwei Jr. of JG Summit Holdings, Cebu Pacific and Robinsons Land is also unchanged at No. 3.
