How to receive SMS notification for BPI ATM withdrawals

Attention: BPI account holders!

If you want to receive an SMS or email notification whenever there are ATM withdrawals on your Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) account, you can easily set this up using BPI’s online banking facility.

Surely this is a good way to check if there were unauthorized withdrawals on your BPI savings account.

Do you want to receive an SMS text (similar to the message below) or email notification every time there’s a withdrawal on your ATM of at least P5,000 or P10,000 or P20,000?

Then simply follow these steps to activate this function.

How to activate BPI’s ATM withdrawal notification

  1. Login to BPI’s online banking platform (BPI Express Online).
  2. Once you have logged in, locate the “Other Services” tab in the top navigation menu.
  3. Under the “Other Services” tab, choose and click “ATM Card Services” > “Withdrawal Notification”. You will then see the options below.

4. Enable SMS notification, email notification, or both if you prefer. Also choose the withdrawal amount threshold, meaning, the minimum amount withdrawn from your ATM that will activate the SMS or email notification. You may choose from 3 withdrawal thresholds: P5,000 or P10,000 or P20,000

That’s it! You’ll now receive SMS or email notifications every time the minimum threshold amount is withdrawn from your ATM.
