How to Invest in BDO UITF

To open a UITF investment account with Banco de Oro (BDO), simply visit any BDO branch and inquire with their staff about the UITF products they are offering. You may be asked to submit the following requirements and to fill out these account opening documents:

  • Photocopy of two (2) valid IDs
  • One (1) set of Customer Account Record
  • One (1) set of Signature Card
  • Investor Profile Questionnaire (IPQ)
  • Client Investment Suitability (CIS)
  • Risk Disclosure Statement (RDS)
  • Declaration of Investor/s
  • Omnibus Participating Trust Agreement

Existing BDO customers may also open and top up an account via BDO online banking and mobile app. First-time UITF investors will receive a call from a representative from BDO Trust and Investments Group (TIG) within two (2) banking days to evaluate your risk profile and to explain to you the risks involved in UITF investing. If you wish to contribute regularly to your UITF account, you may participate in BDO’s Easy Investment Plan (EIP) in which the minimum required amount is P1,000 every month.

  • Fund Description: BDO’s Focused Equity Fund aims to pursue long-term capital growth by investing in a concentrated portfolio of exchange-listed stocks traded in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).

BDO Sustainable Dividend Fund

  • Fund Description: BDO’s Sustainable Dividend Fund aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of attractively priced exchange-listed (PSE) stocks with sustainable dividend yields.

The allocation for equity securities shall be between 40% to 60% of the portfolio or any other allocation range that may be prescribed by the Trust Officers Association of the Philippines (TOAP) in consultation with regulatory authorities.
