Google lets publishers control which sites can have Adsense ads

James Ryan Jonas

Google has now enabled publishers to specify the sites where Adsense ads are to be displayed.

Via the "Allowed Sites" feature, Google Adsense publishers do not anymore have to worry about other people stealing their ad code, placing it in an inappropriate site, and eventually getting "invalid clicks."

To access the "Allowed Sites" feature:

  • Log in to your Google Adsense account
  • Go to "Adsense Setup" > "Allowed Sites"
  • Choose "Only allow certain sites to show ads for my account"
  • List down the allowed URLs in the text field
  • Click "Save Changes"
