Google Adsense video ads expand to Brazil, Germany, India, Mexico

Google Adsense video ads can now be placed in French, German, and Spanish sites and are now available to more publishers worldwide, but those in the Philippines may still have to wait.

Are you eligible to use video Adsense ads? Answer these two questions:

  1. Do you have an English, French, German, Japanese, or Spanish-language AdSense account?
  2. Are you located in any of the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, India, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Spain, United Kingdom, United States?

If you answered “Yes” to both questions, the video units are available in the Adsense Setup section of your Google Adsense account. Just link your Adsense and YouTube accounts, then you can start customizing and embedding the video player into your website.

Companion and text overlay ads will now appear with your videos and you earn on every click and impression on the video ad.

Filipinos still have to wait because the video units are still yet to be launched in the Philippines and the rest of Southeast Asia. I wonder if video ads will be available before the end of the year?
