Thousands of Filipinos have been confirmed dead and some more missing in the aftermath of Typhoon Yolanda (international codename: Haiyan), arguably the strongest tropical cyclone ever to hit landfall. The official and accurate figures as regards the casualties are still changing, but what’s clear is that thousands now need help in order to get back to their feet and, for some, just to survive.
If you are interested to help, you might want to donate to institutions that genuinely cater to the welfare of these victims. We prepared below a list of charity organizations that provide relief operations and support to these typhoon victims in the Philippines.

REMINDER: If you are making a donation, please make sure you are sending your cash to genuine charity organizations. There are unscrupulous people and groups that take advantage of the situation, supposedly asking for donations on behalf of typhoon victims but are actually scammers or fraudulent institutions.
