After more than 2 weeks of waiting and rambling about BPI call center’s ineffiency in handling customer calls, my BPI Trade password problem was finally solved today.
A few minutes ago, I called BPI’s Customer Support Hotline at 89-100 and, unlike my previous attempts, instantly got connected without hearing that “All circuits are busy now” message.
A customer representative noted my request then told me to wait while she transferred my call to a Password Reset support person. That’s when I was kept on hold for more than 10 minutes. A bit annoying, but at least the person who handled my password reset request was accommodating and friendly.
She told me that during the past week, BPI Trade upgraded its website and that’s what caused several login problems for most BPI Trade clients. Ironically, though, after the supposed system upgrade, the site is loading much slower than before. Logging in now takes almost a minute while in the past, it was almost instantaneous.
In any case, I’m glad my password problem is now solved. I just hope that in the future, BPI’s customer support will be faster and more efficient so that clients won’t be disappointed and annoyed by repeated messages of “All circuits are busy now. Please try again later.”
Because if BPI’s service will deteriorate, customers will not simply try again but will rather try other banks.
Since the start of the year, I have a hard time accessing BPI trade sites to trade and they said their server have problems. After a few days they were able to fix it. But today Jan 13, same problem again. It is impossible to enter their site as very very slow and calling their 80-100 line, never mind as it just keep on ringing forever!
Oh well..Their call center sucks! I am a former Phonebanker at BPI expressphone.
Actually we are not undermanned. The problem is there are only a few workstations
available for hundreds of phonebankers.
I hated BPI Customer Service 89-100. It will take you almost an hour just to be able to talk to their phone bankers (even at night time), if you’re even lucky to get past their calls queues. Their given excuse is that there is a large volume of calls, (really??? – even during night time). After their so called “system upgrade”, I noticed that there are double postings of transactions in BPI mastercard. It happened twice, I just filed a complaint and they simply gave me a reference no. and told me that I need to call again their crappy hotline 89-100. What happened to the efficiency of BPI’s 89-100 before??? BPI is supposed to be a bank that has a world class service but how come their phone customer service hotline is really, really crappy. Lately, even the delivery of the billing statements is super late. If the statement of the ex-phone banker below is that BPI call centers lacks workstations, ang cheap nyo naman. You charged high fees in credit card membership and to your other transactions…
