Early this morning, I got locked out of my Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Trading account after I incorrectly entered my password three times. Apparently, I had forgotten that I changed my password a few days ago.

Around 10 in the morning, I called BPI’s Customer Phone Support at 89-100 or 891-0000 to help me reset my password. What greeted me was the pre-recorded message, “Sorry, all circuits are busy now. Please try again later.”

Ok, fine, I’ll try again in 10 minutes.

Ring, ring! “Sorry, all circuits are busy now. Please try again later.”

Thirty minutes later: “Sorry, all circuits are busy now. Please try again later.”

Hmm…

Before 12 noon, I think I made more than 10 calls to BPI and yet none of my calls got through. I tried three other phone lines to check if the problem was on my side but not even one of my calls got connected.

This afternoon, around 3:30, I telephoned them again but all I heard was the same message.

“Sorry, all circuits are busy now. Please try again later.”

Try again when exactly? @#$%^&!!

Its not the tel company. Its BPI system that sucks. I already got into their computerized assistance and just press and selected that I wanted to talk to the phone banker. The phone banker said was busy and either I have to wait or end the call. Then later, after waiting for about 5 to 10 min that my call will attended soon, and then after 5 to 10 min again,  I heard the first message again, and this message alternately changes after 5 to 10 min for more than an hour. Imagine phone banker is busy for more than 1 hour……….
