Trading in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) is suspended today, July 16, due to typhoon Glenda.
The PSE made the announcement Tuesday night, through their official Twitter account.
“There will be no trading and clearing and settlement at the PSE/SCCP on July 16, due to suspension of bank clearing,” says the PSE tweet.
Typhoon Glenda (international code name: Rammasun) is expected to cross Metro Manila by Wednesday morning.
Government work and most classes in Metro Manila have been suspended due to the typhoon.
