Franchise Fee and Return on Investment

How much do you need to franchise Fruitas? According to the company, the franchise fee of Fruitas ranges from Php 300,000 to Php 1.5 Million depending on the food cart type.

Franchise inclusions are as follows:

  • Standard Cart (3-4 sq. meter) or Counter (6 sq. meter maximum)
  • Basic equipment, wares, utensils
  • Initial inventory good for 2-3 days
  • Use of propriety marks and trade name
  • Complete documents and business permits
  • Marketing materials (flyers, tarpaulins, menu, loyalty card, etc.)
  • Manpower assistance
  • 2 sets of uniform (6 polo shirts, 4 aprons, 2 visors, 2 hairnets)
  • Sourcing, hiring and orientation of manpower
  • Franchise orientation
  • Comprehensive franchise manual kit
  • Grand opening assistance

The franchise agreement also provides for a minimum of 10 days training and evaluation to be attended by the franchisee’s service crew.

The franchise contract is one (1) year but may be renewed depending on the performance of the Fruitas food cart.

In terms of return on investment (ROI), according to the company, the payback period is typically 18 to 20 months. This, of course, would highly depend on a store’s location and its management and marketing strategies.
