Can I fund my Sun Life MFs through the online fund transfer facility of my bank (BDO Online)? I would like to be able to schedule (monthly or quarterly) online money transfers from my bank account to my Sun Life MFs.

You can do fund transfer for BDO account of SLAMC, but you have to FAX the deposit slip or transaction slip (pls indicate your name and your mf account no.) and the subsequent order ticket to the SLAMC office..

Thanks kithe. Can I forward the email confirmation of the fund transfer instead? Faxing will be a big hassle for me. There's no more fax machines at work. I have to go out and look for a business center to do that. Or better yet, is there a way that I don't need to send confirmation information just like how I can fund my PAMI MFs through BPI Express Online. BPI sends the information of the transaction/deposit to PAMI for me. I was hoping that I could schedule monthly automatic fund transfers in BDO Online to my Sun Life MFs and forget all about them until I'm ready to redeem the funds (about 20 years from now). :)

^wala pa kasi kami online transactions with our mutual fund, only with our insurance products pa lang.

Yan din ang gusto ng mga clients ko, lalo na they are working abroad or katulad din ng situation mo na wala available fax machine..

With the case of my clients who always want to add investment, they scan the order ticket and the deposit slip or transaction slip, and email them to me and I fax it to our office.. Ayun okay naman..

I topped up my Sun Life Balanced Fund today via check deposit to their BPI account. The thing is, I didn't realize that their office is not in Enterprise Tower 2 na pala. That's still the address indicated in the order ticket kasi so I went all the way to Enterprise today only to find out that they're no longer there. Sana naman they update the info on their MF forms para hindi misleading.Now I have to go to their Bonifacio Global City office to submit the deposit slip and order ticket. Ang hassle lang :/

:imsorry: to hear that.. last November 2011 pa lumipat ang Head Office ng SunLife sa BGC, and we give flyers about moving in to the new bldg, but we have customer centers if you are in Makati area, you can submit your documents there, here are the address;

Thanks Kithe! I work in Makati so I will try to drop by your office at BGC or one of the other Makati offices tomorrow. I don't have access to a fax machine, but I emailed a scan of the order ticket and validated BPI deposit slip to phil_prosperity@sunlife.com. I will still submit the original forms by this week.

After submission of the documents, will Sun Life send me a confirmation letter so I'll know how much shares I got?

But something bother me:

1st: Is it possible to have additional investment thru online transaction? If YES, How would it be..

2nd:Im planning to open a Balanced Fund,Is it good to have another investment company or just stick to my current MF company.

Can anybody share there ideas/opinions here...

Wala pa kami online transaction eh, facsimile pa lang or thru fax.

if you are here in the Phils..Just print he order ticket (subsequent) together with your validated deposit slip of your Bank of choice under SLAMCI account and fax it to 8499744 or 8499740.

For the 2nd question, YES you can have another fund/s (balanced, bond, gs, dollar funds) since you have an account already, just fill up subsequent order ticket and just put which fund you want to invest.. :)

suggest ko lang :) for those na walang fax, or walang scanner, picture-an nyo na lang gamit ang mga high tech na mga phones ngayon then email to sunlife or your agent. mas maganda pa ang resolution kesa fax. wala pang long distance call (if applicable) :D haven't tried it though in my investments. :p

Ms kithe, may balibalita or updates na ba sa automatic debit arrangement for sunlife MFs? i think applicable lang yun currently sa inyong mga affiliated personnel sa kanila diba? baka pwedeng iextend din sa clients :D
