1. hello mga members ng pmt. i have many friends that are asking, kc they want to invest sa stocks, pero hindi ka naman basta basta makakapaginvest diba, pinakaimportate cguro ay ung marunong ka , pero hindi naman ganun kadali na matuto. so ang ipinapayo ay if they want to invest sa stocks, u can do it indirectly via mutual funds or uitf, tama po ba ang idea ko?
2. and among mutual funds dito sa pinas, ung fami daw ang the best, totoo ba un?
3. and may nabasa akong book, mas ok daw ang index fund kesa mutual fund, pero bat dito sa atin, mukang mas maganda ang kita sa mutual fund vs index fund?
4. aside from index fund, may isa pang fund na uso sa usa at un daw ay mas maganda kesa mutual fund and index fund, i forgot kung anong tawag, do u have an idea kugn ano ito?
5. and lastly, it seems mas mabilis if u invest sa uitf kaysa mutual fund, kasi pupunta ka lagn ng bank at within minutes invested ka na, alin kaya ang the best, sabi nila either bdo or metrobank
ok lang po ba ito na nagmemention ako ng mga names, hindi po kc ako sanay gumamit ng  forum na ito, salamat po sa mga sasagot

I am into stock market na for almost 4 months now, starting to gain some profit..... if you want to start with mutual fund or uitf, my personal opinion is to go with either bpi or bdo, mamili ka na lang sa funds na available sa risk appetite mo...  i have a mutual funds/uitf placed sa bdo, bpi and fami/metrobank  last year, and still holding them till now, i am recommending those 2 banks because i am earning more than 10% with those funds, unlike sa metrobank's fami, na presently is I have a 3.5% loss....  available naman sa website nila ang prospectus ng funds nila...  nasa fund manager din kasi kung paano mas mabilis mag-gain yung mutual fund and uitf, yung nasa prospectus kasi ng fami ay parang di ko rin gusto  yung mga equity picks nila...  may plan is to sell them once naka break even ako sa fami and place it directly na lang sa stock market.... before jumping sa stock market, read muna ng mga books para maka gain ng discipline and patience sa pag invest... magandang basahin yung mga books ni Benjamin Graham sa pag start sa stock market investing....  may stock trading game din sa pse na available for newbies...... online brokers naman, you can visit COL financial or first metro securities....  HTH...

tanong mo muna gano katibay ang sikmura nila, willing ba sila makakita ng -20% loss, -50% loss tapos depende jan mas madali ano bagay sa kanila, gano kahaba investment horizon i mean ung invetment ilang years nila kayang hndi galawin, kelngan nila magbasa regarding how stock market works, how companies earn, how to read financial statements if they are into short term kelngan nila malaman ung mga technical analysis, signals, indicators etc. pde silang magaral at the same time magstart na sa uitf or mf kung nasa bahay or bankgo lang ung pera, pdeng konti lang para lang matest at matry nila kung gano kataas or kababa ang risk appetite. ginawa ko dati nagbasa ako at the same time dahil masyado madami dapat aralin kumuha ako ng MF kasi metrobank ang bangko ko, so mas madali magtransfer etc. fami din ang may magandang record that time but naprove ko na wala yan sa previous record, every year iba ang eprformance, at every year halos nagpapalit ng mga managers, pinipirata ng ibang company ung mga magagaling n managers paikot ikot lang. yung index fund low maintenance yan so sinusunod lang nila ung index pero syempre ewan bakit dito satin parang iba yung gngwa nila. we can get so much info on the web and from others, pero preparation lang yun and hindi porke gumana sa iba eh gagana na din sayo. you can get info from others and research and then try it out, tapos on your own try to adjust and polish your technique/style. sabi nga ng isang master dito its an art. hndi din natin kelngan ng sobrang taas na IQ, mas kelngan ang tibay ng sikmura :D

It is not the question whether "madali" or "marunong" mag-invest.  Investing is very easy as long as you are willing to invest and you have allotted enough personal funds for investment. Your friends have to start somewhere.  Obviously, kailangan meron silang personal savings para may pagkunan sila ng pwedeng i-invest.  Kahit alin sa mga nabanggit mong options pwede nila pasukin, pwede nga lahat para ma-compare and ma-identify kung saan sila comfortable.  And start with small investment while learning how each investment vehicle actually works for them.  Then later dagdag na lang kung saan at alin sa tingin nila ang magbibigay ng highest returns.

investor and traders are two different thing, ive started trading stocks since 2008, kahit wala akong alam i jumped in i lost 50% because i dont understand what to be an investor that time... cut-loss dito, sumasabay sa jockied stocks... etc etc.. i think for only a short time ive experienced a lot, true d madaling pasukin ang stock, even the masters of technical and fundamentalist naiipit rin...but what ive learned so far is really about patience and discipline to learn about which company u plan to invest....for me knowing i dont have all the time to focus on stock market, i tend to choose which company gives regular dividend (cash and stocks)

to "invest" has always risk...and i think stocks is just "one" of the tool that you can profit... it just opens another door on how you can manage your wealth(diversity)...try to understand urself first, on how a risk taker you are... u might start 10% stocks, 70%savings, 20%mf... or 50% stock 50% savings... its all up to you.

when i start to invest on stock market, i know i will not see my money again, as early as that, i already prepare myself that worst comes to worst that will happen... now im happy i did, its still not very profitable, but i think ive entered in a right time and learn a lot from this investment...and what i lost before i slowly gain it back..plus with a little bit of knowledge.

Hi!
Malaki talaga ang gain sa stock market as long as talagang pagaaralan mo kung pano ito laruin. Kaya I used www.stocksph.com for my fundamental analysis may PSE Stocks Real-time Monitoring kasi sila dun, Para alam ko kung kelan ako magpupullout  or have to risk more time :)
