In network marketing it is very important to choose your words carefully. When talking to a prospect WHAT you say matters as much as HOW you say it. Remember, the people we try to gain as customers or new team members are not on the same wavelength as we are. Most of have a totally different mindset and our language is foreign to them and may even turn them off.
Never judge others by our own standards. And never assume that the person you are speaking to wants the same thing you do.

Have you used the wrong approach before?

I don’t know about you, but I have made the mistake before to approach a prospect with the question, “How would you like to have your own business.” The look I got back was very similar to that of a deer caught in the headlights followed by a stammered …”A WHAT?” Or worse yet, my question was answered with complete silence.
Very few people will want to have their own business. Many people associate owning your own business with responsibility, risk, a lot of work, overhead, managing employees, handling payroll and much more. And when you think about how many start ups don’t even make it past their second year that is something really scary. Who wants that?
Besides, a lot of people have an employee mindset. They are content being told what to do and when to do it. They put in their hours, go home and be done with. No responsibilities.

This is both correct and wrong.

Correct that you are talking to the wrong person.

Wrong that you are using words that attract "entrepreneural" people to people who are happy with employment.

99% of people move away from pain.
Entrepreneurs move towards pleasure.

The problem with the argument is what do you do when you encounter non-entrepreneural people?

Does that mean you don't sponsor them?

Some of the best leaders in MLM came from these non-entrepreneural types, who saw that MLM was the way out of their problems, and forced themselves in and grinded it out until they became successful.

The answers is, you just say the right words to these people.

And if they see the light, they'd join. If not, SW3 Next.

Uttering the right words is not enough. Talking to the "right people" sometimes do not work.

99% of people move away from pain.
Entrepreneurs move towards pleasure.
"...Move towards pleasure". Says who?

Yeah. I agree with you. But the main point of my article is choosing the right words when talking to your prospects. Because there are people who are skeptical and negative when it comes to Networking or MLM Business. But it doesn't mean you don't have to sponsor them because they're negative. It's up to you if you strive hard explaining them to understand what you are pointing out about your business. It's time consuming and wasting a lot of effort just to make them sponsor in your business. That's very traditional way of sponsoring and it's now obsolete because we are at the information age. Most people are staying and wasting their time on the internet and most of them are the right prospects. You don't have to strive hard explaining them your business, don't have to waste your time and money instead they are approaching you to join your team. You don't have to chase them. Remember this, "Network Marketing is perfect for everybody but everybody is not perfect for Network Marketing. I've been two years in MLM Business and I did that way before but I was not able to get a result that’s why I switched to new and effective way of sponsoring by means of using the power of internet. At first time traditional way of sponsoring works for me. I gain more downlines but time goes by they get burned out and quit. It came to a point that I encountered network stoppage or attrition. I have a lot of friends in Network Marketing are struggling for their business. I have a mindset of being a positive thinker but sometimes in doing traditional way of sponsoring I felt so tired and closed to quitting mode. I escaped for that method because instead of getting results I encountered a lot of frustrations and rejections. I am not saying that the traditional way of getting clients is not effective for you. It's up to if you continue using that. It might be effective to you or to others and you're free to do that. Sabi nga nila, kanya-kanyang trip lang yan. We have only two ways in business, effective and non-effective method.

Gusto ko sana icancel kasi lack of financial na, last may 15 2018 po un nag start ako ng life insurance, pinili ko annually kaso etong may 15 2019 wala nako ma ipay so gusto ko sana icash out, may alam ba kayo kung pano marerefund?
