I mean both the couple are working
has kid/s owns a car, house, etc.

magkano ba ang hatian? 50-50? 60 for the husband?
mga may asawa na pashare naman po ng experiences niyo

As for me, I dont ask my wife to share, because I believe that the husband is the provider of the house. Sabi nga nila, husband's money is also the wife's money. The wife's money is just wife's money. hehehe

kailangan ba may hatian?

i thought you will combine both your income...and will be allocated to family's expenses, savings and investments...

It's good practice that there should be sharing of expenses and transparency on couple's income. Why? because it makes good sense and solidifies a relationship both married and unmarried. Did you know the main and common cause of family problems has relation to money. As in relationship there should be trust, communication, transparency and the sense of helping each other (give and take) this can be seen when couple fall in love (subuan pa ng ice cream sa park) but when you start speaking about money on this same love couple - it goes other way not immediate but soon. True story.

Well, I don't have any wife and kids yet but if someday it would happen and if my wife would be working I'll ask her to share as well. Maganda talaga na paguusapan lahat including financial matters. Mas maganda alam kung saan ilalagay yung pera and kung papano gagastusin. :)

Sa case namin ni hubby, I pay for our expenses here (credit card, work allowance, food, baby and granny's expenses - baby's granny takes care of him), and he pays for all our expenses sa Pinas (ammortizations and credit card bills, tulong sa kanya kanyang pamilya, emergency fund in peso). The rest we put in MF and equities. This year we plan to get life insurance, (di pa nga lng kami makakita ng best suited plan for us) so he would be paying for that too.

i agree on this one as well, haha...but when the wife start sharing or investing for both your future, then its a bonus!

voluntary sharing kami, walang specific na percentage sa hatian...every major expenditure pinaguusapan muna namin... i tend to give more since i'm earning more than my wife

^ Ok if that is the case, then being the financial provider (husband), should make ALL the family decisions with the wife providing the loving support all the way.

Before, we combine everything and budget it for expense, allowance and savings.  We both work.
Now, he's an OFW, he would ask me how much budget I need for the month.  He pays for the car, house, food, bills, etc.
My salary is for emergency fund, tuition fee, gas, investments, business, etc.

I'm entitled to 50% of his earnings.  If we need to buy big ticket items, I need to ensure that I have a surplus from the 50% that he's giving me, or I have enough emergency fund to pay for those.

I don't like to ask my husband for more of his earnings.  Kung kapos ako and it's less than 10K, then kaya ko ng gawan ng paraan iyon from my sidelines.  More than 10K, I tell him in advance.  Like 3weeks advance, so he can plan for it too.

Lahat ng assets namin ay nasa pangalan nya except for cash and investments.  Those, I have in my name.
All investments for the kids are also in his name.

Masyadong generous si hubby, and I don't like it.

That's what I do. I provide everything, I hold, manage, and and safeguard all the money. Ang hirap pag malaki ang gap sa financial literacy ng wife at husband.

I based ninyo ang inyong hatian sa inyong financial plan. Pag hindi financially literate ang isa, then turuan mo. hehehe

Hahaha. Alam mo Sir patski, technically (technical analyst ako :D )  I am a bachelor. I look like a bachelor. Mukha akong bata, mapagkakamalan mo akong high school or college student.

It takes a lot of time to educate them.
