I saw one time a poster posted in a bank branch of different visa card issued in the Philippines.  Some of them are banks like Chinatrust (debit ATM card) and some remittance company like iRemit (prepaid card in which a remittance card). Most prepaid cards are affiliated with VISA and few for MasterCard. Issued by banks, remmittance company, direct selling???, supermarkets???, etc.

To all, can you give examples of Debit/Prepaid cards issued in the Philippines.

Example:
Here are some examples that I already know.

Chinatrust Visa Debit/ATM Card from Chinatrust Commercial Bank Philippines. (They have also Gift Cards and Link/Supplementary Cards). A Commercial Bank.

Key Card Visa Debit/ATM Card from Equicom Savings Bank. (They have also Cash and Gift Cards). A Savings Bank.

Shop N Pay Visa Debit/ATM Card from Sterling bank of Asia. (They have also Cash and Gift Cards). A Savings Bank.

BDO ATM/Debit/Cash Card from BDO. (Available in either Visa or MasterCard in which MasterCard is commonly issued). A Universal Bank.

Pera Agad Prepaid MasterCard from now defunct One Card International. ( I have this one before but this card is discontinued after it was bankrupt and I was not able to recover my 5K loaded on it since it was not a deposit as defined by PDIC. Then I saw on TV that this is part of Legacy Group of Companies of Celso de los Angeles.

Smart Money MasterCard Prepaid Card from Smart Telecommunications. (Used for Prepaid Loading Business and Smart Money). A Telecommunication Company.

iRemit Visa Prepaid Card from iRemit Global Remittance. (Used for Remittance affiliated with Chinatrust CB Philippines). A Remittance Company.

IKOBO Debit/Prepaid??? Card from Ikobo Money Remittance. (Used for Remittance). A Remittance Company.

Express Cash Prepaid MasterCard from BPI. A Universal Bank.

PSBank Prepaid MasterCard from PSBank. A Commercial Bank.

My Wallet Prepaid Visa from RCBC. (Other type co-branded to Mecury drug SUKI Card). A Commercial Bank.

Eon Prepaid Visa from UnionBank of the Philippines. A Commercial Bank.

CashCard International Prepaid MasterCard from Security Bank. A Commercial Bank.

Standard Chartered Debit Visa Electron from Standard Chartered Bank Philippines. A Commercial Bank.

It is very good thing if they have launched the Debts and Prepaid card.People never think about this.Prepaid card is just like Debt card in which you can shop the things your money will be deduct from your amount.Such of cards and polices regarding Credit card may protect people from any cash robbery.
