There are some contractors asking for 9000 to 12000 Pesos per sq.m, still 30 or more percent cheaper than conventional system. Contractors who's using the conventional type are asking around 15000 to 24000 Pesos per sq.m.  :thankyou:

@ Oca
Please explain ano yung nasa pics....

Pre-cast, Pre-Fabricated and Formwork concrete walls are the same. Buhos semento with steel rod which was popular in the late 70's and early 80's. Philippines is moving backward in terms of building technology instead of moving forward. ( mas malaki kasi kita ng contractors pag conventional type Concrete Hollow Blocks ang ginamit nila ) There are some company that are trying to revive this system.

If dumating yung walls ng bahay niyo na buo na, your mom was right, those are prefabricated or precast concrete wall panels, which means, those were formed at a manufacturing facility and delivered to your place, almost the same us tiltup wall panels but the only difference is tiltup wall panels are formed at the site. Your mom was quite right, mahirap talaga pakuan if you're just going to use an ordinary hammer because it's a solid concrete panel. With regards to making an extension naman your mom was quite right again, may kahirapan nga if you did not anticipate future extensions because you need to expose the rebars before you can splice new bars para humaba for the proposed extension, you need to expose a certain splicing length allowed by the governing codes in your locality. Just the same with the conventional type, medyo laborious din if you did not anticipate future extensions although mas madaling iexpose ang rebars ng hollow blocks.

With regards to the pictures posted by Oca, it seems to me that it is some sort of a formwork panel system wherein your going to pour concrete between the forms and that's it you don't have to remove the panels anymore just like an insulated concrete form that stays in place as as permanent building insulation for energy-efficient, cast-in-place, reinforced concrete walls. This is just how I see it but I can only be certain if I'll have a copy of the manufacturer's instructions and product specifications.

A wonderful day to all of you. :hello: :hello: :hello:

Agree with you @ Sasuke, mahirap pakuan itong pre-cast, pre-fab at formwork. But in terms of saving time, money and labor, this is the technology for mass housing.  :rakenrol:

:cool2: Thanks oca and sasuke! If magkaroon ako ng sariling bahay parang gusto ko na rin ng ganito. Sabi rin ng mom ko, despite the more than 30 years nung bahay namin, di pa nag crack ang walls due to earthquakes. Advantage daw yun over hollow blocks na wall. Anyway, hope to learn more information from you guys!

 :thankyou:

I agree with you Oca, if you're saving time, this is the way to do it. And Silent_Inventor you're right also, in terms of strength and durability, this is better than using ordinary CHB.

Government can use this system for mass housing project.

@ tops5450, I haven't got a clue...pamahal ng pamahal yung container van sa atin dahil nauuso na kasi. Balita ko sa America pinamimigay lang yan or you can get it for as low as 1000 USD.
