^^^^ grabe, asan ang social life jan???? hehehehe
I already did that during my highschool and college days. semi bulakbol college days. and this is my own rule/punishment to myself for doing that. Kaya I give up those things muna then once I am financially free. I will have it back. ganun talaga. sacrifice. Pero I still have time for myself like working out and doing some of my hobbies(If have time). :boxing:

and If you are good on what you do.( I know I am) and right time management. magugulat na lang ako na may extra time pa rin ako. hehe :hihi:

Kaya nga my religion is "If you fail to plan, You are planning to fail" :applause:

wala pa yang 10m. that is my expected .....inheritance....matagal pa yon ...   :secret:
and I love making my own money/success. Hindi asa pa rin sa magulang.  :taaskilay:
aantayin ko pa ba yan kahit na alam ko namang kaya ko ma achieve ang money na yan with my own personal hard work.

and fyi. I am introvert. If your an extrovert good for you. don't expect other people to love what you like.We have our own preferences and priorities :hello:

Ang balak ko ngayong taon e makagala man lamang once in a while.

Travel is my way of rewarding myself. :)

I already did that during my highschool and college days. semi bulakbol college days. and this is my own rule/punishment to myself for doing that. Kaya nga my religion is "If you fail to plan, You are planning to fail" :applause:

Rami rin palang high-income earners dito. But the most important thing here is not how much you earn but how much you save and find other ways for passive income. Working hard can only get us so far.

Hubby and I are permanent residents abroad, he earns 15K AUD a month while I earn 6.5K AUD/mo. We also started an online business this year that give us roughly 2.5K AUD income per month.

I do agree with what everyone says here - it's not how much you earn but rather how you handle your money and make the most out of it through savings and investments. We both came from very poor families back in Pinas so early in life, we became disciplined savers and learned about ways on how to make our money work for us. Eventually, we dream of coming back home, help our fellow kababayans by starting more businesses and creating more jobs.

about 50K per month I earn.
Jedi Master you must be, ahem...
Why wouldn't he do that otherwice?!

(I earn more than that now when I'm kind of "between" work, closing down one business* by not taking any new clients in long time to prepare the move, and preparing next business...
*I sold an earlier business, but this one is more or less unsellable, because it would more or less die without my knowledge in it. So I haven't even tried to sell this consulting business. I plan to keep one client on distance and skip the rest.)

Do you mean you don't earn that with your insight? Perhaps you are to occupied with making bullsh*t posts?    :D

Salary ko as of now nasa 6 digits, pero hopefully, sana next year makabingwit ako ng magandang offer.

Haaaays……

In what industry do 6-digit earners here work? In the other forum site, most of those who earn 6 digits are in the IT industry.

I must say that my monthly income is incredibly low. I somehow manage to create a monthly income. However, I cannot shake the filling that I am living from paycheck to paycheck as my parents did. I live on less than a couple of thousands a month.

Yet, I still have the same needs and expenditures as the rest of the people. I still have responsibilities because I need to repay my student loan. However, I am perfectly Ok with taking personal and other loans, like an emergency loan when I need the money urgently.

I think that online installment loans are what have revolutionized the world of taking loans. also, it is great that there are lending companies that allow peer-to-peer lending, where people who have the chance to lend money can give out loans to those who need them. Thanks for the discussion topic and for the chance to read what other people go through.

Not bad na.

Savings is useless due to inflation. Luging lugi ka pag nagretire ka na.
Eto ang naging strategy ko as an OFW.
Monthly basis to with 1 child and wife.

Salary : 310k
Cost of living abroad(HK): 200k per month (apartment cost is 90k, food is 60k - half kilo ng baboy is 500 pesos imagine that.)
Tax per year: 15k

Future plan: Buy more land in the province and build more apartments.

Existing Business in PH:

4 unit Apartment:
- Construction cost: 1.2M
-  Earning: 15k/month

Piggery (Paalaga)
- Puhunan - 100k every 4 months.
- Earning: ~35k every 4 months labas na puhunan.

Mutual Funds:
- 5k/month

Stocks:
- 5k/month

Physical Gold(Risky investment):
- 70k per year(around 1 oz of coin - American Eagle, Maple Leaf)

Wow 20M... how to be you po. Hahaha! That’s a goal!

20M that’s possible…. I am working in an Oil and Gas Industry in abroad for 18 years, 18 years na akong nasa Project Controls. Hindi imposible ang 20M especially when you landed in a good paying job.

Last year, there was a vacancy that was offering around P800,000 a month tax free, accommodation and food provided pa. P1M/month for the managerial position they are offering me kaso tinanggihan ko dahil alam ko hindi ko pa kaya.
Kapag napunta ka sa offshore, you can earn as 800 usd per day. Sa isang buwan malinaw na 1.2M kaagad.

Career wise, I know I’m in the right path. Tyaga-tyaga lang muna. Besides kailangan kong tapusin hetong kasalukuyan kong project bago man lang umalis o maghanap ng greener pasteur. For us Planners involving from FEED, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Com/Commissioning is an important experience and would be a great step into our career.

20M, yeah im looking forward on that…..

Neto na yang 1.2M a month sir?  Sarap ng trabaho nyo baka pwede pa refer magtrabaho ulit ako pag ganyan ang sweldohan.  If you work 18 years * 1.2M may 21M ka na now.  Kakainggit and syempre congrats narin.  Pag may 20M ako or at least 10M hindi na ako magtratrabaho

Nope.

March of 2000 nag-grad ako ng Mechanical Engineering, October ng same year nag-take ako ng board exam at awa ng poong may kapal nakapasa ako. May of 2001 nag-abroad na ako. Walang experience, walang kapit.

Ofcourse, as you increased your experience, you are getting more marketable, more chances you can land in a better company.

2013, I was offered a job in Busan, South Korea, pasado na ako sa interview, may kontrata na ako. I was able to deal the salary to USD10,000 a month plus monthly allowance. Plane fare, accommodation+utilities, bus transpo, all free. My visa application was on process already…….then after few weeks something deep inside me convincing not to proceed.

With Korean’s work ethics and atmosphere, I have a feeling it will be a suicide. Anyway I was still hired by an Italian Oil and Gas Company then, nothing to be afraid na mawalan ng trabaho.

Now, I am on a different Oil and Gas Company. Gained the experience I need, Pre-FEED and FEED. Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Comm/Commissioning. Pati onshore and offshore. One thing I need to accomplish, hetong kailangan kong ma-involve sa turn-over ng planta where I’m currently working now. I need this too in my shopping cart.

After this project, I will try to search for greener pasteur.

I wish I did earned 1.2M in the span of 18 years. Limpak limpak ng salapi yun! Sarap nun.

Seems that working at a multinational is the best way to earn a high salary.

And among the worst lives   :hihi:
I mean compared to jobs which are ok or better paid.
In average the bigger company the worse life by they have more very selfish people.

(My first full time employment was direct after High school  in one of the bigger companies in my home country. Got employed as machine handler in the production but when they saw how much faster I got things done they offered me a long time substitute position as Planning boss.  If I would have stayed I would have got the Production boss work in a few years when he would retire.

My cousin was Marketing boss there, got it when he was 23. He stayed although he hated it, while I left and started own business.  My cousin have earned more than I but in difference from him my work have been fun. Well. Mostly  :)
