am not trying to be a kill joy here, and no offense to anyone...

(count me).

the more diverse info cguro, the better. like, ilang porsyento ng income ay galing pinas/abroad at anong work?

such that if, for example, an OFW is planning to go back to Phils for good, may bearing sya kung magkano ma expect nyang salary kung mag-continue cyang magtatrabaho sa pinas for a given expertise...

yun lang...

or baka may government agency na may information tungkol dito....
paki-refer me naman... thanks!

I suppose if 100k ang sweldo most probably it comes from an OFW if less than 100k from pinas. That includes me and i stay here because its my choice.

Tama si bizdummy.  There should be a category for small business owners(like me).  As to income per month?  If your small business is lucky, you can earn ten to twenty times more than P100K per month.

Just to update people here, NSCB (national statistics) had an article way back in 2010 that a person who earns from any sources solo or combined (net of taxes) of 200,000 a month is already in the upper 3% of the population.

For me, the easiest way to earn P100k monthly is thru business.

mas madali po ata as an employee.  i know a lot of people na nakaupo lang sa desk buong araw, earning 100 (d ako ito kasi puro ako leg work) to 500k a month :) sa business walang pahinga, kahit asa bahay iniisip nyo parin po ang negosyo :(

Can you give some examples of these 100-500k a month desk jobs?

Would you mind giving more detail on your sources of racket and passive income?

Thank you.

@jjalfonso1 - mostly in IT, senior developers to managers, but of course not for small companies but for the big players here in the PI and around the globe.

My ex mentioned that his friend working for P&G earns 300K++ a month, base pay, position is in Upper Management

Yup indeed sir.  Sun Cellular for a PM position pays 6 digits, Smart near 150% to 200% of Sun's offer.  PLDT a little in between.

Earning >100K+ as engineer but ~35% non napupunta sa house rent and allowance, mataas kasi standard of living sa SG. Nagsisimula na din gumawa ng passive income sa pinas, currently i have 4 sources of passive income and still doing part time sa internet

My net monthly savings is around 300K+ if converted to Pesos excluding bonuses and income from investments. Big problem is that my pay keeps on decreasing as the Dollar keeps losing its value.

My net monthly income is the same as my net monthly savings. Di nagagalaw ang buwanang sweldo ko. For my overhead expenses, I'm receiving monthly allowance from my company. Everything else is provided for by my company, housing, transportation, cell phone credits, etc.

Millionaire - a person whose assets are worth at least a million of the standard monetary units of his country

By definition the key word there is at least in monetary units of his country.
so they can proclaim themselves as Millionaire per se.

Being a 100% freelancer, I don't have salaries but out of blood, sweat & tears (masakit kasi sa mata pag sumobra tutok sa monitor), I make an average of +/- PhP60k a month. I write, edit, and manage a dozen of freelance writers and several marketing blogs.

I don't think that assets alone will determine if someone is a millionaire.  I believe his NET WORTH should be the basis.

Case in point. Mr. X has 100 million worth of assets. At the same time, he has outstanding liabilities amounting to 200 million. Is he a millionaire? Your opinion, guys?

^Since you quoted me: depende which bank and where the bank's location is. It could go anywhere from 8,000 to 100,000 a month. If you google a bank's name + salary, lalabas naman how much they pay their employees.

Yung mga kilala ko na employees who earn 100k a month locally, they hold managerial positions in BPO companies. But hindi pa bawas income tax dun! Yung iba naman, software engineer, computer analyst, and etc. I'm curious too -- ano pa nga ba Philippine jobs that pay that amount?
