Hi Mary Ann,

I have been following this forum and came to know your kindness. Just like the others, I have been desperately waiting the settlement of my pension plan after submitting all the requirements. My PFA Acct. No. is 21-98-06-01-A0378.

Hope you are just around the corner and would also lend a helping hand to me.

God bless us all.

Sincerely,

Rolly

There have been so many apologies issued my maria_ann and we are yet to see 'things happen'......hangga ngayon nga naghihintay pa ng explanation sa CAP Pesion Plan eh.

my wife pension plans (2 plans) had matured in 2005... she was paid 10% only of the total maturity value in 2008; the remaining 90% balance has been pending ever since... we wrote already SEC and CAP ... SEC endorsed our letter to CAP but CAP remained silent ... when I personally visited CAP's office in Makati, the Treasurer mentioned that funds of CAP are in real estate... kaya lang mga overvalued real estate properties ... tingin ko malabo na maging pera ang mga yun... so sad that we are not getting any support ...

let us not be fooled by their clever explanation. i believe that those properties were already sold to Andrew Tan of Alliance Global. just read this piece of news:

AGI buys into Fil-Estate

By Doris Dumlao
Philippine Daily Inquirer
First Posted 21:52:00 12/22/2010

Filed Under: Tourism, Investments, Construction & Property, Mergers - Acquisitions - Takeovers

MANILA, Philippines—Tycoon Andrew Tan-led Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) has signed a P5-billion deal to secure a 60-percent stake in property developer Fil-Estate Land Inc.

This gave AGI access to more property suitable for tourism-oriented developments.

AGI on Wednesday announced it would subscribe to five billion common shares of Sobrepena-led Fil-Estate for a total of P5 billion in cash.

The shares to be acquired by AGI will be issued by Fil-Estate Land out of the P5-billion increase in its authorized capital stock which was earlier approved by its stockholders.

“We are acquiring a stake in Fil-Estate Land in line with AGI’s strategy of investing in tourism projects outside of Metro Manila,” said AGI president Kingson Sian.

“This will bolster our bid to make the Alliance Global Group the biggest player in the Philippine tourism industry,” he added.

“We believe that tourism is our country’s newest sunshine industry. By forging a partnership with Fil-Estate Land, we will be able to develop more than 1,000 hectares of tourism-oriented communities in the country’s prime tourist spots such as Tagaytay, Nasugbu and Boracay,” Sian said.

The price per share of P1 implied a big discount to Fil-Estate Land’s book value of around P2.74 per share as of 2009. With the cash infusion, the book value will fall to about P1.73 per share which was still very cheap, said Campos Lanuza & Co. head of research Jose Mari Lacson.

“It’s a pretty good buy for AGI,” Lacson said, noting that the firm’s bid to expand its tourism ventures would gain a big push.

“With the assets of Fil-Estate land, they can maximize the value of those. Fil-Estate has no resources, so even if it has good assets, it can’t develop them fully. With AGI, there’s a lot of synergy and this ensures the development and marketing of projects. There will also be financial synergy.”

The deal was priced at a slight premium over Fil-Estate Land’s closing price of P0.92 at the stock market yesterday. Also as of yesterday, the company has a market capitalization of about P3 billion.

Shares of AGI were up by 1 percent to P11.10 per share yesterday, giving it a market capitalization of P106.72 billion.

AGI will pay the subscription price in two tranches. It will be paid in full upon the approval by the Securities and Exchange Commission of the increase in Fil-Estate Land’s capital stock.

Andrew Tan’s flagship holding firm is an active player in a wide range of industries—real estate development to food and beverage, quick service restaurants and hotels-and-resorts development

@ marie_ann....yes , one of the PFA that you had posted last March 21 is mind!

Madam , you started a thread last March 30 2011 "CAP Philippines! NOW PAYING BACK!!!" ....me and my wife was so exited at that time , so we rush to Makati office only to be with a big disapointment at window 4 , reason why my emotions got lose!

Madam , can you please explain us here why you started a thread like this?  despite the fact that nobody among us here at PMT had ever claimed a singel centavo from CAP!

Hi Jetz,

Thank you for the message, With regards to the thread, it was made for people who are assuming that CAP is closed and are not paying. There are a number of things that I need to make clear
1. CAP is paying, it's not closed or bankrupt, You just have to file a claim in order to avail.

2. Do not expect to be paid immediately because there is a long list of claimants. As I've said before it on a first file, first claim basis. Which means that CAP will pay the people who filed first.

In all fairness, the people in PMT are not the only ones that are claiming, there are thousands of people who are claiming and was able to get. The reason why none of you were able to get is because you have to wait.

I am here in PMT because I want to be able to help reach out to people if they are in need of help filing and if they get bad service from the customer service representative of CAP or if they need to know what happened to the claim that they filed.

I cannot expedite your claims, but I can help you save money by asking about the status of your claims online without having to spend money or time to go to the CAP office.

Also I cannot be the one to file for your claim.

Thanks for the time.

Sincerely,
Maria Ann

But since the plan is gone, just settle your debt to us. We badly need the money now.

Thank you po.

Sincerely,
Maria Ann

Hi, I got an educational plan for my daughter, she is still in highschool, do I apply for claim now as it takes so long to process and have checks released  or I should wait till shes in college before I file our claim?

Its been so long and I don't know the status of CAP, its just now that I have read something about CAP here in PMT.

"It is understood that this approval of the Revised Rehabilitation Plan is only good for two (2) years, hence a review of the compliance of all the terms and conditions of the plan and of this approval shall be made not later than September 30, 2008, unless there is a good reason for the early withdrawal of this approval."

Above is the last paragraph of the RTC ruling on the REVISED REHABILITATION PLAN of CAP as penned by Judge CESAR O. UNTALAN on November 8, 2006. Now, was there any published report of the required compliance review which should have been provided on or before 30 Spetember 2008???

regretfully...I went to CAP main building at Makati to terminate my two (i.e. already matured) traditional plans that I invested since 2001...I personally do not trust that CAP will be able to rehabilitate itself...according to the personnel at CAP, I "will" be paid within 5years reckoned from the date I requested the termination of the SFA...I just hope and pray that I can still recover my investments...

My parents enrolled me this CAP Educational Plan when I was 6years old the whole payment they made was 97K for that S**T  >:(! Look at me now, still not yet graduated in college and my parents don't know where they can get My Tuition fee in every semester because of the fact that CAP Plan was already scammed or I should say kinurakot by the Head Official wala na!.. ilan tayong nasayang ang pera at umaasa na mabibigyan ng bahagi ng perang nalalabi sa pera ng CAP Plan?

heto lang po nakita kong latest updated since the rehab:

http://www.philstar.com/Article.aspx?articleId=462202&publicationSubCategoryId=66

Hope it can help!

First my brother's education plan which cost us about 60K, P1250.00 lang ang nakuha namin in total, kulang pa sa pamasahe kapupunta namin sa main office nila, at by the way 4 years na syang graduate.

Then my mother's pension plan, siguro nasa 90k, we tried to refund pero naka pila pa daw. HAY!!!!! mukang maililista na lang sa tubig.

Kaya every time na mapapadaan ako sa anu mang branch nila eh, parang gusto kong tumibag ng ilang sakong bricks, bintana, at doors nila e. Makabawi bawi manlang kahit konti.
:wall: :wall: :wall:

CAP should sell all their properties, including the properties of those who are responsible for its downfall and, oh, they should sell their internal organs as well.

TSK!

I heard CAP has a lot of real estate properties listed in their books... my question is: how were these assets valued -- are they saleable, not overpriced? ... because these would be part of their sources of funds to pay the policyholders when liquidated... nagbiro ako one time when I had a chance to talk to one of their officers, a certain Ms. Virata - I said: ciguro lupa na lang ang ibayad nyo para even na tayo; san ba located ang mga lupa nyo? The answer was: nasa Quezon at Bicol... the last time they paid us of my wife's pension plan was 2008 pero 10% of total collectible... 2 plans had been fully paid 2005... I don't know when will be the next payment...

Tsk.
