Title: Has anyone in the Philippines make their own Kombucha (fermented tea)
Post by: PwedePadala on Nov 08, 2017, 07:19 AM
I was able to make my own kombucha overseas and wondering if Pinoys are doing it back home na rin. It's a trend overseas especially for the vegan or health conscious. It's a bit expensive but why buy when you can make it at home. It's cheaper and you get to experiment with the flavour that you like. My favourite is ginger and blueberry.

I have been making kombucha and water kefir since 2013! If you google jannah kombucha, you will find my blog about kombucha.

@theteamaid: What do you do with the old scoby? I've been making kombucha for a year and my scoby keeps on adding up. I transferred some to other jars to try different kind of tea.

Thanks. I found your website and I'll be reading your posts. I will have to try water kefir.
