may english ba ng pasma? kase ung mga ibang nasyon alam ko di sila naniniwala sa pasma e, ako after ko mag biking diresto ligo agad, so far wala namang nagyayari sa akin...  :hihi:

pasma has no scientific basis...ang mga doctors hindi naniniwala sa pasma...ang masama ata eh yung hindi nanliligo...:)

i asked this question before too and our former fitness trainer told me, may na-pasma na ba na athlete (kasi sila yung sobrang magpawis due to physical activities/workouts and didirecho sa shower room)?

he alsoo said that i should hit the showers while i am still sweating (lagi ko kasi sinasabi pagod pa ako, pahinga muna bago ako maligo), at hindi yung natuyuan na ng pawis saka naliligo. di ko lang alam kung dapat ba warm shower or ok lang kahit cold (warm lang ako lagi)... something about the pores, sweat glands, body temp, i cant recall anymore.. :D

several studies show na yung mga taong hindi naliligo, or occasional naliligo ay may mas mahabng lifespan compared sa mga araw araw naliligo

thanks sa pagsagot mga forumers,plan ko kasing mag.jogging mga 30mins lang muna for a start jog walk lang, every Sunday, Tuesday at Thursday sa umaga bago pumasok sa work, maliban sa linggo since ala naman pasok...now that i know na ala palang prob eh,kailangan masimulan na yung plan ko...

^ ano daw ba ang symptoms ng pasma? non- negotiable naman kasi ang handwashing sa akin maski pagod na pagod at pinagpawisan ang mga kamay ko.

^Tanong mo si miko, lagi din pagod ang kamay nyan, pinagbabawalan ni graphene maghugas.. Saka mas malaki na muscle ng kanan nyang braso kesa kaliwa... :hihi:

alam ko pagpasma eh madalas pawisin ang kamay at paa tapos madaling mangalay yung joints sa mga daliri at madaling manginig pagnagbubuhat ng mabibigat...yung sabi ng mga matatanda samin=hakahaka obserbasyon kasabihan at lumang paniniwala kasi sa kanila... :hihi: :hihi: :whistle: :whistle:
sana my sumagut yung base sa medical research  :D :D

kung ang symptoms and tanong, oo pawisin na kamay or paa, nanginginig ang kamay, kita na ang mga ugat.

its ok to take a shower after axercise or after strenous physical activities.
Better if you use warm water instead of cold water......scientific reason is because warm water or anything that generate heat will dilate blood vessels....when blood vessels dilate good flow of blood in that area of the body.

No such thing as "pasma" in medical point of view......but there is such thing as " muscle spasm" but not related to taking a shower, one possible reason is over work/fatigue of the muscles other is due to metabolic disturbances such as electrolyte imbalance.

Scientifically speaking there really is no such thing as "pasma" but there is something we call "placebo". Simply said, if you believe in what the "matatanda" say and you take a bath right after exercising, then there's a great chance that your muscles would weaken. If you feel sick right after, it's because your mental condition prior to taking a bath catalyzed your body's lack of defense to bad elements. Either your body would feel weak or diseases would attack you soon after.  :D

Hindi naman sa palagay ko.  After working out , shower ako ung medyo warm water.  Okay naman wla naman bad effect.

Ang masama po ay ang change ng temperature na biglaan.

Nangyari sakin ito (True Story):
- Exercise ako ng todo.  Pawis na pawis. Mainit panahon.
- Then nag shower ako ng malamig.
- Kaboom, bagsak ako sa banyo, nanginginig ako (hindi sa ginaw, d ko mapaliwanag kung bakit nanginginig buong katawan ko).
- As in nakahiga ako sa banyo, nag "chill" katawan ko.
- Sinubukan ko din maligo (warm water) after ng extreme exercise, walang nangyari sakin. I felt refresh pa nga.

after exercise rest muna ng 10-15 mins. din warm water lng  ligo mo ok. relax na muscle ntin

If you're doing cardio or lifting, especially HIITs (High intensity interval trainings like Sprinting or Super set workouts)
you need some cooling down exercises, or just plain stretches and wait for 5+ minutes para bumaba ang heart rate and mag-stable ang body temp mo.

It's very important lalo na if you're planning for a COLD shower after. Though I would recommend room temp na shower.

This should prevent any negative effects to your physique. (not just spasms but general muscle pains) also improves muscle recovery..

Natatandaan ko may nabasa na akong article hindi raw maipaliwanag ng science parang magic kasi nakaka relax ang pagligo right after the training o exercise mas delikado pa yata ang magpahinga muna.

I think mas safe kung di ka maliligo ng malamig na tubig, mas maganda hot shower lang. At dapat magpahinga ka muna ng @ 30 minutes delikado kase sa heart attack.

May nabasa rin ako right after the workout uminom ng malamig na tubig delikado sa heart attack.

Ang pagkakaalam ko pwede magquick shower. It should also be warm, good for your hair also. Try to ask your instructor, to make sure.

I think sudden change of temp is not good.
So I usually take a warm shower after any strenuous activity.
Ok lang naman.
I believe it is even better to take it within 20 mins after you stop your activity rather than waiting for 30+ mins before showering.

dati noong bago pa lang me nag ggym, after kong matapos naliligo ako.. sabi ng friend ko na matagal ng nag ggym masama daw yon.. dapat pahinga muna, tapos hindi ligo buhos lang ang gagawin.. para lang mawala ang init ng katawan.. as in saglit lang..  :cool2:

sir kaya pala sabi ni andres sa asawa nya hindi sya puedeng maglaba kasi kaka pamalantsa nya lang daw hehe
