Our good friend McBilly recently won a premium WordPress theme at a contest but instead of using it, he decided to give it away as prize in his very own contest!

The theme prize is called Revolution Tech Theme created by Brian Gardner. The theme sells for $79.95 for a single site installation and $199.95 for installation in multiple sites. I know Brian to be an excellent maker of WordPress themes. In fact, the current theme of PinoyMoneyTalk.com is a customized version of Brian’s Vertigo Blue theme which he offers for free.

Last month, Brian offered a 10% Christmas discount on all his premium themes. I was already about to buy one but decided instead to use the money to gift myself with a Palm Pilot. Hehe…

Now, if McBilly will award me this premium theme, I definitely will take it!

If you, however, want to win this theme yourself, head over to McBilly’s blog and learn about his Premium WordPress Theme Giveaway. All you need to do is link to his contest post and his web portfolio and the sponsors of the premium theme.

Good luck, especially to me! Hehe… (drools over the premium Revolution Theme…)

How was McBilly become a good friend at PMT? Well, this guy is a copier, he is not really a designer. He used to copy and modify other’s WordPress themes and then claim it as his own work. Want proof? Head over to http://www.sinulog.ph official site and see the footer link. The “Sinulog Theme” is pointed to his portfolio, where this theme is only a modified version of http://justintadlock.com/archives/2007/11/04/visionary-wordpress-theme

Hi WPStudio, I’ll contact McBilly and will ask him to respond to the issue you raised.

@WPStudio. I appreciate you bringing that up. :) I really did modify Justin’s wordpress theme and I never said that I made that theme myself. (The logo with the link to Justin’s site is still in the footer) I was hired by the Sinulog Foundation to organize all their data and update their website, while redesigning their site. All the modifications was done my me, as well as all the flash animations. I made it clear to the Sinulog Foundation that I was using a modified theme, and they really don’t mind it as long as the entire site looks professional. :D

I hope that clears things up WPStudio.

@James – Thanks for the heads up. I was very busy the whole day and I just read your email.
