How to earn passive income from your blogs

It feels weird making a new blog post after almost three weeks of resting. Yes, it’s been almost three weeks since I made my last post (see Free magazines for Filipinos posted on November 15).

This posting hiatus happened for two reasons. One, I went to Singapore and Indonesia from November 17 to 23 and didn’t have time to make any new blog post while I was away.

The second and more important reason is that the posting break was actually an experiment of mine. I was trying to check if blogging can indeed give passive income, and this I did by comparing my Google Adsense income before and after my last blog post.

Top 10 High-Paying Keywords

My friend, a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) freak who owns at least eight (8) different blogs, and I were discussing yesterday about blogging and how to make money from blogs.

I told him about the article I wrote on 7 easy-to-make blogs that can make you money but he said although these are indeed easy to make, these blogs are not necessarily lucrative.

According to him, if one’s goal is to make lots of money by blogging, one should target high-paying keywords. This got me to researching what these top-paying keywords are.

High CPU usage and load average in our WordPress blog

Those who frequently visit our site are probably confused by now by the constant change of our blog theme. Until early this week, we were using Brian Gardner’s Revolution Theme which we got as a prize from McBilly‘s contest (thanks again, Mr. Blogger-turned-model!). But for more than three days now, we have been shifting back and forth to the WordPress Default Theme.
