Reminiscing ST: StudioTraffic one year ago
September 20, 2006
While cleaning my mailbox today, I found this email from StudioTraffic sent a year ago. It makes me chuckle thinking all the cheers and praises in the mail mean nothing anymore.
High-yield investing is indeed risky, just look at what can happen in an HYIP/autosurf program in a matter of a year.
Email from StudioTraffic sent September 10, 2005:
Dear members,
Good News! According to a popular online statistics, StudioTraffic is ranked 708 on 3rd of September. This means that StudioTraffic is ranked 708 of the most popular site among billions of websites. We are no longer a small unknown company. We are a strong company where hundreds of thousands of people come together everyday, spending at least 10% of their day, surfing at StudioTraffic. Yes, people are willing to spend that much of their time with us.
Ranked 708th last year, now 103,754th (as of September 20, 2006). Interestingly, though, StudioTraffic's 103,754th ranking in Alexa is still decent compared to other sites. But a drop from 708 to 103,754 says it all. And with virtually no pageviews in recent months (see image below), it does look like a lot of people have moved on since StudioTraffic was officially declared a scam.

To make sure we continue to be competitive and dynamic, we will start a review committee for each Studio Program. If you are interested in being a member of this committee, please reply to this email to indicate your interest. Do indicate whether you like to be in for StudioTraffic, StudioWalker, StudioBlogger, StudioPay, StudioRocks or StudioShopper. Please do not confuse this with running of the program.
Hmm, where again did all these programs go?
Updates on all studio programs
StudioTraffic
StudioTraffic will be getting a new makeover. We hope to launch the new design within 2 weeks. The site will have a cleaner look. Together with this new corporate look, we will be introducing more advertising plans to attract more advertisers too.
To give better support, we have started recruiting people in most states of US to handle payment processing. This ensures that you will get better customer care (phone support) and faster payout too. This will pave the way for Studiopay offices in most states of US too.
The site did launch with a more professional-looking site weeks after the update. Several members from the US too were indeed hired to become manual payment processors. Little did we know, however, that several months later the non-payment of salaries and resignation of top managers and staff in the US office would signal the end of StudioTraffic.
Most members may have not noticed this but we have already started our high earners participation program quite some time ago. The purpose of this is to allow our high earners to contribute their earnings back to strengthen and grow StudioTraffic.
Translation: We're starting to run out of cash so we need to get more money from you to fuel the Ponzi.
StudioPay
Our Canadian office will be moving soon. We are moving to a bigger premise, three times bigger than our current office. With this move, we hope we can increase our manpower to 80 in the new office. We will announce the address once the move completed. At the same time, we are speeding up in setting more offices, laying the foundation of a truly global payment processing business.
And the offices were indeed set up, including StudioPay Philippines. We all know what happened next.
StudioShopper
We have completed our research on StudioShopper. Other than selling our own merchandise, we will do corporate gifts for other companies too. For example, we can help other companies design their own custom-made anniversary watches.
Have you ever wish you could have someone helping you to sell your products or services? We will introduce a comprehensive affiliate system where you can list your products or services up at StudioShopper. People can go to StudioShoper, find the products or services they like to sell. All they have to do is to download the coding needed and use it on websites or emails and help in selling. Imagine having thousands or millions of people helping you to sell!
Our programmers have started working on the system. We expect it to be ready within 2-3 months. In the time being, we forecast we will earn $250,000 in the next quarter so on average; we will make around $90,000 a month just by selling our limited watches plus debit cards on StudioShopper. We believe that 3 months later where our new system is ready, our monthly earnings will increase threefold. The addition of B2B (Business to Business) and the specialty products such as the Limited Edition Watches will greatly increase sales. Who wouldn’t want to be the proud owner of a certified limited edition StudioTraffic product? The potential is huge at StudioShopper.
We will launch a whole range of merchandise very soon. We project that StudioShopper will bring in $1,000,000 in revenue within the coming year.
Did StudioShopper even manage to make a sale? Exclude those made to "John Horan" and the top ST managers.
StudioBlogger
Have you noticed it? Yes, StudioBlogger got a new look. You can find that it is easy to create a blog. Once StudioShopper affiliate system is ready, we will incorporate it into StudioBlogger so you can effectively blog, sell products, introduce products or services by blogging and make music. You can practically do everything you ever needed under one roof.
Looks like together with the ST autosurf program, StudioBlogger also went kaput, *ka-pow!*, *ka-blog!*
If you have not realized it, we create our own world. A world with our people, our own money, products and services. We have our own market. In our mind, we do not have any competitors to beat at all. The only competitor we have is us, to challenge ourselves and push forward to make our vision a reality. Stay with us and enjoy the ride.
Yeah right. Thousands of members stayed with you but most of them did not enjoy the ride.
Cheers,
John Horan
StudioTraffic Inc.
Whoever you are, enjoy spending your… our millions in the Bahamas.
