List of Online stockbrokers in the PhilippinesIf you’ve already finished the first parts of our Stock Trading tutorial, you probably know by now the different types of securities being traded, how profits in the stock market are made, how much is needed to start trading, and what types of stock orders you can make.

The next step now is to choose a stockbroker.

A stockbroker is a person or a corporation authorized and licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) to trade securities.

The stockbroker can be a live person or an online system. A discussion of the pros and cons of each is in the forum thread Do you prefer live or online stockbrokers?.

List of Online Stockbrokers in the Philippines

Here is a list of registered online stock brokers in the country. Normally with an online broker, you are not assigned a live trader. Instead, you do trading all by yourself using the broker’s online system.

Visit each online broker to compare their fees, support and service, and quality of their trading system. You may also visit the forum discussion threads below to read PMT members’ opinion on each broker.

I suggest you approach I.Ackerman Corp. It’s a stock firm that can possibly offer you the services you need as a first-time investor. But, you would need atleast 20,000 pesos. It’s their minimum initial investment that investors should meet if they want to avail their services.

You may also go to Roberto Coyiuto Securities or BPI trade. You need to have a minimun initial investment of 25,000 pesos as per experience

Can someone please help me find a stock broker who I could contact
through email or phone number. I  need to make a survey about short
selling and my respondents are Stock brokers, and i badly need your
help. Can someone please? I’m begging.. Thanks a lot..

You would first need to find a stock firm who can accommodate you based on you money. Usually there are some who requires a minimum initial investment so that you can start trading. After filling out their application form, they would then provide you with your stock broker whom you can call regarding your stocks, if you’re going to sell, hold or buy.

I think it’s easy if you apply in BPI Trade. You can easily reach them and you are quit sure that they are legit. You just need to fill out some documents and a minimum deposit of 25,000 pesos

A friendly reminder to everyone who wish to invest/trade in the stock market of forex.  Don’t dare to trade when you don’t have sufficient knowledge about the forex/stock market psychology. Otherwise, your investing is nothing but a gambling! You can’t afford to lose your hard earned money in a split second, can you?  For newbie, the best practice is LONG TERM INVESTMENT to ensure the maximum potential growth of your money.  The least is 5 years or 10 or 15 years or more… Make stock market as your biggest piggy bank as Bro Bo Sanchez said. You can invest for as low as PHP 2,000/month faithfully.  You will be amazed in due time that this becomes millions. In this way, the risk is minimized but the profit is maximized. If you want to have a mentor who would teach you step by step on stock market investment, may I recommend you the truly rich club of Bro. Bo. Sanchez.  Promise you won’t regret.  Happy investing!
