hey, why are we not celebrating the EDSA People Power Anniversary?? it happened in february 25th 1986, then why not declaring february 25th this year as a NON-WORKING holiday to all….
Goshhh…. come on! hope its holiday… please…please…. it would be unfair…

Hi,

Just want to ask why EDSA People Power Anniversary is holiday only for schools and why not in private sector? Does it mean that only students will celebrate there freedom instead of whole nation. Last year this was not declared as holiday, does it mean also that weather weather lang and pag celebrate ng EDSA People Power?

Shouldn’t May 3 2010 be the Labor Day holiday? Under RA 9492, the Monday nearest to May 1 shall be a holiday. Has anyone clarified this?

For this year’s holiday on February 22, 2010, will only be the students who will take a break?For this happened last year wherein we workers were reporting to work. Why is this happening?This is a national concern so why only students will take a break?Thank you.

I would like to ask if casual employees who are working in the local government units shall be paid on august 21, 2009.that date is special non-working holiday.
