Mutual Funds Philippines – 2nd Quarter 2011 Performance
July 20, 2011
The performance of Philippine mutual fund companies picked up during the 2nd Quarter of 2011, wiping out losses incurred during the first three months of the year.
While most funds were on the red during the 1st Quarter, at the end of June 2011, a majority of funds were beating the 1.80% year-to-date performance of the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi).
Compare this with the performance of Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITF) in the same period.
Below is the list of returns booked by Philippine mutual fund companies from January to June 2011.
