That’s the difference. If you Blog, be Man or Woman enough to accept that not all people will share your sentiments. One will definitely get both positive and negative comments.

That’s the beauty of it. You immediately get an immediate reply. We learn by sharing what we think of a certain topic in real time.

Besides, it’s still a free country.

one, malu fernandez is just sourgraping because she was made infamous by blogs/bloggers because of her stupid comments about OFWs.

two, just because one has a space in phil star doesn’t make her a legitimate journalist. pinabili lang siya ng siopao sa kowloon, journalist na daw siya.

third, she’s just another shock jock like howard stern and dj mo. nagpapakontrobersiyal.

i think she (Malu) needs to get on with the time, this is the information age. people have all the means to voice their opinions and they don’t need an editor to tell them what they can and cannot say in public. I agree with what Han said, sometimes bloggers give more accurate reports than the reporters/journalists in today’s television/radio/newspaper.

In her comment about cyber space and real people, IMHO, cyber space is the new place where you can meet real people. Have she ever joined any e-groups? do meet -ups for business reasons and arrange everything through messageboards/forums or emails? I think she really is stuck in dinosaur’s age, it’s her loss anyways….

I think Malu Fernandez is overrated… kinda sad really, that she goes on telling this and that… she’s dragging herself down without her even ever realizing it.

When can you ever say that you’re a true journalist??? is there ever an untrue and fake journalism… thats just utterly crappy of a claim on her side…

And.. needless to say, blogging is addicting. I for one reads CNN like crazy, but I’m also looking forward to the next new international friend of BrianBoy or the next food showcase in adobongblog.

Well, for you Malu… shut up and enjoy your next 10 minutes of fame by being talked about with the fast growing numbers of Filipino bloggers… and be prepared to be served…

Her writing style is definitely not professional. I find it one-sided, biased and self gratifying. Based on her standards then maybe she’s better off ranting on a blog of her own.

Shifting the topic into politics was also done in poor taste.

If blogging is such a slacker job then maybe that makes me bad at slacking off.

Well, if she finds out that many bloggers earn more in month than she can make in a year i bet she’s going to change her tone of voice. I agree blogger do not same with journalist. but sometimes, blogger can reported more than what journalist do for their media. in some ways, information in blog will be more accurate than information that published at mainstream media, since they can't report a public issue which against their interest, their business, stake holder... finally blog will be more independent, and became alternative media to find "another" truth.
