marami nga dito sa KSA, HS graduate mataas pa sumaho sking college graduate, so it does'nt matter at all kung ang basehan ay financial status...

ang diploma para sa akin e parang safety net lang. kung sakaling hanapan ka, meron kang ipapakita. kung mapakita mo naman ang kakayahan mo, makakalimutan na rin sa bandang huli kung anong diploma ang meron ka.

syempre may specific disciplines na requirement ang diploma. wag ka mag-aambisyon maging duktor or engineer kung wala kang diploma.

diploma ay para kng mageempleyado ka.. and since many start out as employees. importante narin.. pero kng businessman ka at mayaman ka na. di na siguro. take subjects nlng that is in line with your goal.. wag kna mag rotc saka PE.

ang idol ko nga pala na si BATMAN ay walang diploma.. just took specific subjects and trained under experts.. joke toh pero may sense naman sa topic

Having a diploma will NOT guarantee success in life, but face it, in a society where ranking, heirarchy, reputation and education matters, it will definitely give you an "initial" edge in life (no matter how small would that edge be).

If you think otherwise, then don't let your kids finish school.

By reading the posts, I kinda have an idea kung sino may diploma at kung sino wala

Anyways, what Im doing now is totally not related to what i took up. But it surely helped what I am now. When you hold a degree, it doesnot only mean academics, there are other stuff that you learned along the way...

True, having a diploma is not equal to success, and no diploma is not equal to failure. But having a diploma is equal to higher success rate while no diploma is equal to higher failure rate.

For me mas okay kung makatapos ka, college degree or more, like masters or doctors degree..
It will lift your moral and you can share your knowledge to others.

Well, kung di talaga kaya na mag college due to financial reason, okay lang.

Madaling kumita ng pera, nasa ability lang natin yan, pero mas may confidence ka pag may pinag aralan ka..

ang panahon dati, iba. super duper importante ang diploma.
pero sa panahon ngayon, internet ang school.

seriously, u can even attend classes sa world's top schools gaya ng MIT, etc. ang dami pwedeng pag-aralan sa internet.

basta may internet ang isang tao, nagiging level playing field na, basta pursigido yung tao umunlad.

ok, zipper na bibig ng batang walang diploma.

Ang PMT forum...about sa BUSINESS and MONEY... I guess you should have to act like a BUSINESSMAN too..to others: get your manners fixed and get yourselves educated.

Back to topic. Diploma is useless without using your given common sense. Even more useless if you allow yourself to be used senselessly. For some, diploma is a status symbol. For another group, it may be their ticket to financial freedom. For me, it's a proof that you have persevered, worked hard to earn it. Congratulations..
