@biske yes that's what i asked this morning before i get to open a new account sa epci na if ever I apply for visa electron, is it possible? and she (the girl from new accounts section) told me that yes, I'd still be having the visa electron card, it's still epci cuz they are doing the process now with regards to the merger with BDO...

actually this morning, it was all a coincidence, as I was walking downtown area this morning my thoughts are into buying a dvd , I've seen in front of me the epci bank and thought of inquiring.. so yun na!! if you want you better try and ask the bank, kasi i'm not from Manila. I just only hope that the atm card I'll be receiving next week is indeed the epci Visa Electron card, cuz I also have the application of it this morning.

Nodules, thanks a lot for the info. There's been some reports of people finally getting their money through eon card as of two days ago. But if I don't get my withdrawal within 2 weeks' time, I'm also applying for the epci visa electron.

Hi guys, I got my PayPal withdrawal today:

I did the withdrawal on October 13 and it was marked as completed by PayPal on October 14. It only took four days whereas it took more than three weeks for others. So I'm thinking they process the withdrawals by batches, swerte ko pala.

looks like we are all finally seeing light here. maybe what happened was Unionbank or Visa may have been shocked with all the influx of withdrawals since the announcement of full Paypal capability. and they were only able to keep up early this week since all the news that came out about people starting to receive their funds started oct 16.

let's hope this will continue for good and hope that the turnaround time will be much more shortened.  Applause Applause Applause

In short, talong-talo ka.

^re:chargeback/paypal forex... so pwede pala gamitin loophole yan by unscrupulous individuals to defraud you since hindi ka makapaghahabol pag ganyan scenario mo (in violation of TOS)?

^yep pwede nyang iclaim na nahack yung PayPal nya or hindi nadeliver yung goods. And syempre si seller walang evidence kasi nga bawal ang currency exchange sa PayPal, so kahit na ipresent nya yung evidence nya, talo pa rin sya.

As far as I know, depende sa mga nababasa ko regarding PayPal, wala silang seller protection. Maglologin using proxy yung tao, tapos isesend nya yung pera. And then maglologin sya sa sarili nyang IP then magpa-file ng complaint na na-hack daw yung Paypal nya.

Hindi ako natatakot kasi I deal with big and established companies. Lol

Ah, and kung lalampas na sa $1k yung bayad, syempre hindi na through PayPal and bayaran. Ask for a certified check instead.
