wow, if the services in main branches are that bad,, what more on those smaller ones which are usually cramped, or empty. Im planning to invest on their uitfs, but im worried as the bpi bank nearest to me, is just a small one. Im not sure if they are well trained on UITFs products.
Nevertheless, I really want to invest as soon as possible, do you think this is a good time to invest in their uitfs?
i am keen on their balanced fund and equity fun,.
 advices will be appreciated,,,

I have yet to buy units from their UITFs. I'm pretty sure that my experience was isolated.

For me I opened a MF in BPI on ALFM group. At first it was hectic and they made many mistakes on channeling my fund. From my prefer Fund A they made n error and put it to Fund B, which resulted to untimely redemption and wasted opportunity. One good thing is they reimburse me the early redemption fee at the bank's cost plus the price of NAVS on that day drop :) Lucky. Now I can subscribe to any MF through BPI online banking. I can place order online now either additional subscription or redemption. It is more easier now.

do you have UITF investments with BPI? If so, could you place investments online(after you open a UITF account at a branch).

Are you sent the certificate?

ferrariEverest, thanks for your answer.

I also believe in getting feedback from users who have used the system. I had a problem with BPI's mobile banking where in they didn't send me my MPIN after 2 weeks. When I called them, they were surprised that I wasn't sent and made me wait for two days after each call I made to them. I finally got my MPIN on the 3rd. From what they say when I called them and from their brochure, it should only take 5 working days which didn't happen in my case.

No Certificate just a confirmation letter. You can request for a certificate but the only problem would be if your certificate got lost/stolen, which is more a headache to get a copy which will involved tedious process. I would settle for a confirmation letter and time to time printing the transaction record off the web. I use BPIexpressonline also.

UITF and BPI Mutual Funds work both ways in the online subscription and redemption except the newly acquired Odyssey Funds.

Take note of the # of shares you were issued and then multiply that by the day's NAV. If its greater than what you invested then you will earn money once you redeem your shares, otherwise paper gain lang.`

I want to open a bpiassetmanagement account and start investing in their ALFM Growth Fund. The problem is, I haven't got the P50,000 minimum required investment yet. Can I still open an account and put money in it little by little like BDO's EIP program? Will it earn money or will it only be considered a legit investment once it reaches P50,000?

Before you can open an ALFM growth fund with bpi, you need a settlement account. So aside from the minimum 50K initial investment, you need additional funds so that your settlement account doesnt go zero.
