I listened to a series talk on "How to Achieve Financial Freedom" and got a video on it which I watch again and again because the principles talked about is very applicable and helpful to me or to anyone who wants to build their financial wealth.

One of the things the speaker expounded is that if you wish to know more about investing, talk to your friends, but if your circle of friends talk only about non essentials like movie stars and the likes, look for another group who likes to talk about making money (the right and legal way, of course).  If not, invite an entrepreneur for coffee, for the price of coffee, you can pick his brains out for ideas how he became rich.  On top of that, YOU HAVE TO STUDY FOR YOURSELF on investing.

Investing is a a very personal thing.  One may work well for your friend but not for you.  Since you differ in your risk appetite.  Your friend might be sleeping soundly on his investment but you are having sleepless nights.  So check it out for yourself.  Go for what you feel will be comfortable for you on your level.

Good luck in your investing plans.

It's very fascinating how u guys talk like these.. How I wish I know how old u are, well.. maybe it simply means that our world is dynamically changing as fast as the financial world works every split seconds of our time not thinking how to sleep. It is embedded within the earth's core that a substance is made.. For those people who are afraid to loose, not considering this world as a big school for each and everyone of us, they fail because they always follow a vision, well.. it always starts there, and it is there.. but life doesn't care about our visions, we only survive thru our beliefs, so we just have to deal with life.. Think fast...

Bakit nga? :D Binanggit mo yon in connection with what you read in this thread that you found fascinating. So anong correlation ng age sa nabasa mo? :) Sabi mo pa:

maybe it simply means that our world is dynamically changing as fast as the financial world works every split seconds of our time not thinking how to sleep... life doesn't care about our visions, we only survive thru our beliefs, so we just have to deal with life.. Think fast...

Slow ako. Medyo di ko na-gets. Sensya na. Care to elaborate? :)

Haha! Natuwa naman ako sa curiosity mo. But I understand where this is coming from. Like you, I am curious as to how old or young people in this forum are. Because they seem to know a lot, especially about money, and I feel like I'm being left behind. Well anyway, based on how they present their opinions, I can gauge that most PMT members are in their late 20s and early 30s. Why don't you start a poll?  :D
