Just signed the application form sa First Metro...hmmm...mas ok po ba ang Citiseconline? My only bias with FM e meron na akong Metrobank account. Should I still pursue my application or try COL? Thanks!

most of the traders here have at least 2 brokers. But it's still up to you. It's too easy to open an account in citisec.

I just forwarded my documents to firstmetro, I'll try this muna., may metrobank account ako so mas mababa ang minimum kaysa COL na 25k, nalilimitahan kasi ako sa EIP ng COL. Learning learning lang muna, pagmagustuhan, why pa lilipat sa iba?

Hi, ask ko Lang PO if anyone has tried the iPhone app for first metro securities? I'm thinking of opening an account with them if its more convenient. One of my concerns is the chart dahil afaik walang Java for iPhone (tama BA?)

sa akin naman mas gusto ko firstmetro kasi metrobank sya madali mag transfer ng fund online banking,, sa java application naman sa iphone wala pa idea hindi rin kasi ako gumagamit ng java sa desktop pc ko eh hehe

Hi there! My account is with FirstMetroSec. I like their interface and the speed through which orders are executed. I have heard of not-so-good stories in other on line systems, particularly on the way everything freezes especially the order send screen. So far Okay naman sa FirstMetro.

The only problem I see for now is how their system is over loaded during market run-up sa closing just like sa opening. This is quite understandable because of way too many transactions that must be sent through sa PSE system. So far satisfied naman ako sa services nila although I experience a minor glitch or two here and there. But nothing major.

Linking your Metrobank account is a plus plus. They call this settlement account via your Personal Metrobank Direct. Lodge with them the Money Stays With Us form for easier management. Mahirap kasi if your money keeps on shifting between your trading account and the settlement account.

THE FIRST METRO SECURITY IS Di kasi alam ng mga taga-bank yan. Hindi kasi yan bank product. Affiliate lang ng Metrobank ang First Metro. Nung nag-submit nga ako ng application form sa Metrobank branch, medyo nagulat yung staff dun.

So far, I only use the iPhone app for buying stocks and checking my portfolio. The interface is different from the website. For the iPhone app:
Home (Index, Watchlist)
Charts (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) - I guess static.
Quotes (Stock Info, Bid Ask, Buyers Sellers, Volume Review)
Trading (New Order, Orders, Portfolio, Trades)
Ticker

You can purchase up to the amount of your pledged funds in your MetrobankDirect Account plus your available funds in First Metro Securities. For purchases exceeding your fund with FMSBC, your MetrobankDirect Account will be debited three trading days after the purchase.

does this mean pwede kang walang pledged. amount pwede ka magbuy as long as u have funds in your savings account? and it will be debited after 3 days pa?

I dont think so. Pag nagbubuy kasi ako yun lang talaga nasa balance sa FMS, pag sobra dun ang inorder mo, nagiging invalid yung transaction diba..

Ang naobserve ko, pag nagcheck ako sa ATM nakareflect yung FMS balance na di ko nagagalaw as part of my Current Balance, but not withdrawable.

fund with FMSBC - could be the funds from the proceeds of your stocks just sold (and was not transferred yet to your metrobandirect account - which requires 3 days), or if you have requested them that the amount of your transaction will stay in your FMSBC account. (and will not be automatically transferred within 3 days in you metrobankdirect).

...tama si vicces, the amount of pledged funds is still part of your metrobankdirect account, pero nakafreeze sya. Magiging FMSBC fund lang sya once you use it on buy transaction, and will be deducted on your metrobankdirect account after 3 days.

"Registration of stocks bought"... Name of account or
First Metro's name (Street registration/PCD)

What does first metro's name (street registration/pcd) mean and which should I choose?
