It's nice on paper and all but OMG, the charges are ASTRONOMICAL. I understand that you have to pay for the cost of insurance, but why is the premium charge/sales load a staggering 5% per top-up (is this charged even after the 10-year paying period)?!?And what is that periodic charge from the 2nd year to the 5th year? What does it pay for?We haven't even touched on the management fees, redemption fees and etc. yet, so in effect, this is one very cheap insurance product tied up with a very expensive investment product.
