hi everyone - newbie in PMT..

im interested in investing in FAMI months ago but im stressed with how poor their customer service is.. im receiving response from my enquiries and preevaluation of my application form after chasing them for like a week.. i always have to send like 3 to 4 emails before they can respond and they will do so after 4-5 days.. I actually have MF with ATR Kimeng and their customer service is excellent but they're not among the top performers kc.. im not very happy with my paper gain as I can see that other MF companies perform a way lot better.. but ill maintain my fund in ATRKE pa rin naman since long term investor ako

Anyway, please can anyone here be kind enough to share with me your direct contact with FAMI? I saw rin kc from FAMI's FB page that some customers are going crazy chasing them for the status of their initial/additional investment and that's the last thing that I would want to do to myself.. hehe. .sorry, talagang stress lang ako kakahabol sa FAMI

im here kc in Singapore kaya i want good customer support since I can't go directely to their office..

Admittedly, I was irritated previously with FAMI's slow response when answering request for Statement of Account. But for more than 3 years I've been with them, in terms of fund management performance I can't ask for more

Tutal iniisip ko, given a choice between better fund performance vs. Superb customer service, I rather choose the former. Added sana if they have the ladder

If you want fast booking, either use metrobank payment bills online or go to nearest metrobank and use payment slip there for your FAMI MFs. Kahit hindi agad dumating yung SOA request ko, once I check na yung dates of my previous investments they were booked naman on time.

Nowadays, I request my SOA during my quarterly financial reviews.

@ allanmm13 - sir when you request for a copy of your SOA, pinapadala ba ito ng FAMI by letter (mail) or thru email lang? And do we really need to request for this one? Kase yung ibang mutual fund companies merong summary na pinapadala quarterly. Wala bang ganun ang FAMI? TIA..

Meron ata sila pinadadadala na regular summary on my mailing address, na nasa Pinas. But since I'm an OFW, mas madala ko makita yung details via email (SOA).

Ah, ok. So automatic na palang pinapadala sa inyo yung SOA quarterly. Ako kase nung 1st quarter kinailangan ko pang mag-request nun bago pinadala sakin..

How much po ba ang dapat ideposit dito para saktong 1k ang pumasok? Less na po yung sales load and other expenses? TIA..

How much ba charges? Compute mo lang, less mo yung amount para mag aarrive sa exact 1k na gusto mo..

oo nga, xyphrus, bakit need mo sakto?

anyway, to answer your q at kung gusto mo lagi sakto yung placement mo, divide mo lang to 98% (rate of 2% sales load), except for Money Market Fund kasi 1% lang sales load nun so it should be 99%.

1,000 / .98 = 1,020.41
1,020.41 X 2% = 20.41
Net investment = 1,000

Actually, di ko naman talaga gusto na sakto. Curious lang ako magkano ba ang dapat i-less para mai-deposit mo mismo yung saktong amount na gusto mo.

@ kithe - yun po ang problema, hindi ko alam yung mga exact charges kaya di ko din alam kung how much yung ile-less..

@ leelou - thanks sa computation. That is 1k less 2% sales load, right? How about tax, hindi na ba subject to tax yung mga additional investments natin? Kase sabi nila pag halimbawa gusto mo daw maglagay ng saktong 5k, ang dapat daw ideposit mo is P5,112. Kasama na daw dyan yung sales load at tax. Magkano po ba ang tax every subsequent investment (if ever meron nga)? TIA..

Wala ba sa Statement of Account mo yung details of how much yung sales load na binawas sa iyo nung nag invest ka?

Sa sample mo na 5k, pero may vat po na 12% so 2.24% and total sales load mo, meaning dapat ay 5,115 ang invest mo para saktong 5,000 ang investment mo.. Haha. Kuha mo ba?
