^Kung ako sa inyo, kung meron din lang kayong ibang choice, wag na lang sa BPI kayo mag-open ng trading account. Walang kwenta talaga, pramis. :hihi:

I have some questions about your message:

  • 1. What other choices are better than trading at BPI, that you might know about, anyone here?

    2. Can anyone be more specific about why it is walang kwenta sa BPI? like it is longer to transact, or it takes more documents, or the people at BPI snub you, or what?

    3. When you make money from trading at BPI, it does not deliver the money to you promptly and without hassles?

From what I've read in another forum, Citisec Online and First Metro Securities provide better services daw than BPI Trade.

2. Can anyone be more specific about why it is walang kwenta sa BPI? like it is longer to transact, or it takes more documents, or the people at BPI snub you, or what?

Walang kwenta because of the following reasons:
1) the research section is not updated. I subscribed to their Research Plus section three weeks ago pa but until now walang feedback.
2) the system is super slow during trading hours. there were times pa nga na down yung system.
3) no value-added services such as free seminars, stock tips, etc.

3. When you make money from trading at BPI, it does not deliver the money to you promptly and without hassles?[/i][/li][/list]

I haven't tried withdrawing funds from my trading account. Di ko alam. :dunno:

@ anna: have u tried giving feedback or suggestion sa management ng BPI regarding this matter? They might respond to this appropriately to give good service to their clients.

 aside from those you mentioned na alternative institutions, wala na bang ibang banks that do the same stock trading service?

Nilipat ko dito yung posts about First Metro. :)

@oishidu, di na ako nag-email kasi ito nabasa ko sa ibang forum na post ni StrangeAttractor:

Quote
To BPItrade users who got victimized, raped, holdupped, bludgeoned by BPI's antiquated "online" trading system today, look on the bright side: If the bullrun continues on Monday, you'd be glad BPI forced you not to take profit today. Smile

Seriously speaking, BPItrade is hopeless. I initially thought their problems are fairly recent owing to "growing" base of customers. So ok pa, hey this is bluechip BPI, with billions of gross profit every year. Then I searched for old posts in this forum and others, expecting praises and high-fives from years ago. Then, surprise... the same problems happen every year!!

Patience is a virtue daw, so I stuck with BPI, believing a bluechip company wouldn't have any problem upgrading its online trading system. I sent my complaints to all customer service email addresses, including managers, VPs, even snail mail to Montinola, their president.

Result? Nothing happened.

OT: Ang alam ko meron ding online trading ang RCBC at PNB.

Thanks, annanymous, for your accommodation. Honestly, I have never done any stock trading or any fund investments whatever. I just put my savings in a time deposit for a measly interest compared to the 20% etc. interest of the Legacy Group banks.

It's all my personality, I can't be risky and comfortable; but I am curious to know more about stocks and funds.

And I know that I will annoy some people no end with my inquiry about whether the number of people making money from stocks and funds are more than 50% of all people engaged in stocks and funds for a fixed number of years.

If there is a system to make the satisfied people more than 50% of all people engaged in stocks and funds for a fixed number of years; then from my elementary knowledge of math I think when I do have the spare money to risk in stocks and funds for a number of years, then I will go into them for that number of years duration as my funds can outlast the years: because I am then certain that the system as described if ever available will ensure that I will definitely make money at the end of the allotted period.
