When can I start trading? For stock trading, investments must be in board lots. For fixed income investments, we require that investments be at least PhP 100,000 per transaction. For Mutual Funds, we require an initial investment of at least PhP100,000.Do you impose a minimum volume per trade?Trading on the Philippine Stock Exchange is done by board lot or round lot system. Therefore, the minimum number of shares you can buy or sell will depend on the market price of the stock at the time you place your order. Also, price fluctuations are not uniform, but are dependent on the price range where the stock is trading.
Third, if you purchase shares today, the amount will be debited to your account on T+3 (3 business days after transaction) but it will no longer be available for investing on the same day you buy your shares.Fourth, if you sell today, proceeds will be credited to your account on T+3 and will not be available for investing today.
Forget BPI. Everyone I know who has that just curses the daylights out of it.
