@ mxherr / kithe - i see. Thanks for that information. So if i will be needing the money for 1 year or less, then i guess it is much safer to invest here (GS Fund). Though the return is very low compare to equity, much lesser risk naman. Its really ideal to have a fund/investment for short-term and long-term. Thanks again.. :)

Hello,

I am new to this site. I am just a simple young professional who seeks for financial freedom. hehe. Nakapagsearch ako and read books about how I can invest and save pero sobrang newbie pa din talaga ako kaya hindi ko sya masyado nagegets. hehe. I am interested to investing in sunlife kasi number 1 sila recently. And I have searched about the 5K minimun sa prosperity fund. Anyone who can enlighten me about it and who can give me suggestions on how I can start on saving and investing?

Thank you very much. Godbless

Thanks. I have not reached that target yet but I'm in the process of brainstorming and finding out more possibilities to reach my goal of financial freedom. :)

Yes. just one step at a time...
Savings is important long term and short term. You lost your job you can use it until you find new one or you can use it to start a business. If there's an once opportunity you can grab it immediately. You have emergency financial problem it can ease... It's better than none but of course wag ka mamungad sa pagsasave...

Yes thanks for your helpful advises. I understand that I have to invest my money on something and not just save up. I'm trying to learn about ways on how to make my money grow and not just store it up. Thanks, your insights are indeed helpful. :)

I have a question

Does Sunlife have an online account where you can check your daily NAVps as well as buy and sell shares online?

Here is the link where you can check the NAVPS daily.. Or even the historical navps.. :)

http://www.sunlife.com.ph/philippines/Products+and+Services/Mutual+funds?vgnLocale=en_CA

No, we do not have online transactions to buy or redeem shares..
But you can download the form, deposit your investment in a bank nearest you or thru online to Sunlife account.. Get the validated deposit slip.. And fax it to slamc office..

If you are an investor already, you can register online and check your account online..anytime. :)

If not, you can pm me for more info.. :)
