  • Yung AXA USD Premium Bond Fund is consider ba as UITF also?? :hihi:

Kasi I'm been WOWed by its performance for the past few weeks, it gross as high as 42% per annum if you compute it base on it's daily NAV... :-D :-D

I think it's the best so far out there now...

AXA Honey products are actually variable life insurance plans. From what I understand, performance of your chosen investment fund spells the value of your policy.

  • Meron ba ditong nag invest sa Metrobank's partner AXA LIFE INSURANCE.
AXA.com.ph is also posting weekly there daily NAVS.

di ko alam details sa policy nila, alam ko lang 200,000.00 minimum investment nila-one time pay.
tapos choose ka na lang ng combination ng funds: bond, balanced and equity fund.

I hope after one year pagbalik ko sa pinas, sana may kikitain ako doon.

Merged your post with this existing thread, backread ka muna. Yung 10% annually, projection lang ata yon. Hindi naman ata fixed ang return ng AXA.

  • I just want to share some updates on AXA Honeypot. For those who might be interested, I got mine last April 2006. Minimum amount of investment is 200,000 and there is an insurance attached to it. I have my investment ratio as follows: Balanced Fund 50%, Bonds 30% and Equity Fund 20%.  In a years time my portfolio shows that I have 228,000 total value of investment. Not bad considering that to this date it must have already increase in value and compared to what the banks are offering in terms of rate this is certainly a lot better not to mention that you are insured.

  • Metrobank VUL charge 2% entry fee from your total investment. So it you are planning to place your money in this type of investment/insurance, remember that redeeming early could constitute a loss

I have invested in AXA honeypot. But it is in peso. I got mine from metrobank last year pa. Bonds and Equity Funds (balanced fund is a mixture of bonds and equities) are maket based. So when it is down, so is the value of our investements. Now, unlike the banks' UITFS, the holding period in AXA honeypot is 5 years (if I'm not mistaken, I'll check my policy). Because it's that long, sigurado kikita tayo. But unlike in a bank's UITF, wherein the holding period may be as short as 31 days, we can't maximize our gains. :D

  • @diamond,

what is your basis na "sigurado kikita kayo" hinde naman basis lang ang holding period ng isang investment becareful sa mga sinasabi mo kasi baka akalain nga nila ganun yun.

siguro what your saying is the current situation of the philippines na nasa bull market pero what if biglang nag bear market tingin mo kikita pa din yan na sigurado diba... sa dahiling 5 years kasi ang holding period? a bear market could last many years....
