Get investments from other people and invest for them. Charge a management fee while you're at it. You will need at least 18M to turn this into a business you can live off of (2% Mgt Fee per year). syempre, para sa bawat tao iba iba ibig sabihin ng mayaman.

as retail traders, ang hirap na umangat/magsucceed, mas lalo mahirap ma-achieve yung #1 & #2.

simple answer is yes.
the main issue is, will the retail investor do whatever it takes to reach his/her goal?
thoughts + action = goal

as usual, maraming tao gusto yumaman (thoughts), pero hindi lahat willing to commit para ma-achieve ang goal (action).
thoughts - action = daydreaming or pangarap na lang

this 'simple' formula is applicable sa kahit anong bagay or endeavor, hindi lang sa trading.

The problem with stocks is that everything is %-based. Trading can only help you make some additional money, but it won't be enough to REALLY make you financially free for years and years on end. (Ferrari_Everest might disagree with me on this)

my goal is to be financially free and hopefully still pursue my dream to reach the highest summits in the world (including Mt. Everest). that is why I have recently got back to managing a fund for a client (a PMT member). the goal is to manage my own fund/trading account &/or manage a fund for a select number of investors (2-10 investors). A few years from now, once I do well and have accumulated a significant amount, I will go back to trading my own account exclusively.
I do not want to end up managing a huge account, masakit kasi sa ulo yun.  I do not want to grow and trade 'too big' (my goal is to have time/financial freedom, not to get rich).

a. every month ako may makukuha or every year
b. makakakuha lng ako ng income kapag hold ko ang share for a long time tapos ibinenta ko ang mga shares kung mataas na ang value nila

income ay manggaling sa
a. price appreciation (umangat yung value/price nung stock)
example, bumili ka ng lapis for P1. binenta mo ng P2. nag-appreciate price ng P1 so tumubo ka ng piso.
b. cash & stock dividends (& possibly some additional means)

it is important to realize na sa stock trading/investing, negosyo po ito. hindi employment.
sa employment, may paycheck every month, basta magta-trabaho ka.
ang trading/investing ay negosyo. may chance na malugi ka or kumita ka ng malaki.
ang employment at negosyo ay parehong may risk. dapat pag-aralan nyo lahat ng aspeto bago kayo sumubok ng trading/investing.

If you trade, you might get money frequently pero pwede rin masunog frequently. If you invest (long term), there is a greater chance na yayaman ka pero not immediate kasi nga long term (i.e 10 years). Pag stock investment para sa retirement mo yan. Pag trading pwede mo sabihin na pang monthly income yan pero nga dapat MAGALING ka talaga dyan kasi pwede ka masunog.

Tama si sir ferrari, kailangan muna maging specific kung ano definition mo ng "yayaman" o "mayaman".  Once defined na, then palagay ko pwede na sagutin yung tanong kung puwede ba at paano ka yayaman sa stocks?  Isang halimbawag definition ng "mayaman" ay merong kita na isang milyong piso kada buwan.. Posible bang makamit ito sa stocks?  Ang sagot:  POSIBLE.  Pero kung paano mo makakamit ito ay isa uling katanungan.  Marami itong posibleng kasagutan..

He asked how he can get rich with stocks. The concept of "rich", for me, is not synonymous to "financially free". besides, if he likes it, then they've got a battle plan lol.

for example you have your 5K tapos bili ka ng JFS stock na tig 105 per share. bili ka 40 shares so 105 x 40 = 4,200

after few minutes (pwede rin after few days) marami ang gusto bumili ng shares ng JFC tapos sa dami ng buyers nag uunahan sila makabili so in effect bahala na kung mahal basta makabili lang sila. So naging 110 / share na ang JFC. So ibenta mo na lahat ng shares mo (pwede rin hindi lahat) at 110. So computation will be 110 x 40 = 4,400

So from 4,200 naging 4,400 so meron ka 200 na gain. Pera mo na yan. Simple calculation without expenses yan ha like commission sa broker.

Parang buy and sell. Bili ka then sell mo sa mataas na price.

Paano ka yayaman sa stocks??? in my POV long term investment... dapat may kaakibat na panahon at kaperahan iyan di sya instant although iyong iba day trader they can earn big amount of money in one day maxado pa ring risky minsan kasi they can lose big amount of money in one day din.

ung upper part ng ticker is ung  price. Then the second part is the volume. The 3rd part is the buyer, and the lowest part is the seller. If you rely on the news paper, you are already too late and you might be buying when everybody is "selling on news".

Most movements are based on rumors and speculations. But if you rely solely on Technical Analysis, you can trade a stock without knowing its fundamentals or news that might be affecting its movements.
You'll be less bias on your trade and will execute it more properly.

As far as news is concerned, you want to study the news and see how it foreshadows events over the next four to six months. Having a reliable blogger to analyze non-financial/business information (e.g. politics, philosophy) will greatly help since you're ultimately operating within the social sphere.

People generally tend to act on "news" even if it has no bearing on the company's long-term future. This is a method of exploitation and is useful in attaining high rates of return.,

Take a break from all that manic activity of staring at charts and stats and visit the "plan your trades" and "manage your funds" part of the party. There are a lot of holes there that could bleed you out. #me-raises both hands
