The difference of Filipino vs. Chinese Mindset
« on: Jul 16, 2012, 11:03 AM »

Nice video by the way.

For me, working in abroad is very challenging and most difficult part of filipinos lives, though money can sometimes ease the pain na mawalay ka sa family mo..the reason why filipino needs to work abroad, because sa growth ng family and personal needs nila. and they have to sustain it, i dnt find our standard salary can support 4-5 members of the family kaya, we seek opportunity abroad.. kahit na mahirap..  Sana matugunan na ung pag taas ng salary and pag pigil ng baba ng mga pangunahing bilihin..para mabalance na ang kahirapan..

Filipinos and Chinese go abroad for better oppurtunities.  But pinoys go abroad to become employees.  Chinese go abroad to open small businesses.

Who is taking more risks?

Who tends to become rich?

As you said:  hindi lang chinese ang tinutukoy na may ganung mentality but kahit "foreigners", so why name the thread specifically a comparison to chinese?

Actually Asia ang growing economy ngayon, hindi lang Pilipinas, that is why investors are investing in Asia dahil nandito ang opportunity for growth and profit.

Hindi din mag-aabroad ang ibang Pinoy kung may capital sila at may napundar na sila dito. Nag-aabroad sila para mas kumita ng malaki at mag ipon ng capital to buy or start an investment here. While some who are already successful here will choose to stay here.

Like with foreigners din, some they are just a starting/average businessman in their country, punta sila dito if they think they can offer something na wala pa tayo. Same din satin, punta tayo kung saan may kailangan na services or products natin.

You can choose to be an average employee in a huge company or to be one of the bosses in a smaller company.

Its a natural motivation of man, kung saan may need and opportunity of growth for him dun siya pupunta, pati Pinoy ganun din naman.

A typical chinese is so simple even they are a multi millionaire compare to a typical pinoy who hiding himself to luxury items...

Typical pinoy spent more than savings typical chinese save more and spent less they have an attitude of 70/30 save the 70% live on 30%

They have the mindset of At time of Peace prepare for war...

The best mindset na hindi ko maperfect haha...

Chinese people are bean counters, kahit 1 cent nabibilang pa yan. Pinoy are careless about money, we are spending our money like there's no tomorrow. Chinese people have an investor's mindset, Filipinos are just mere consumers.

However, good thing that pure Filipinos like Manny Pacquiao had learned to build a business.... only 2% of the Filipinos have the correct mindset and make themselves unique from others. 98% are content of what they are.

Are you part of the 2% or 98%?
