if you have a BPI savings account, mag-enroll ka na din for an online banking account. Then mag-apply ka na din for Online Investment account, convenient kasi ang purchases mo can all be done thru the Internet. Pwede ka bumili nag MF units with the said account, of course BPI/Odyssey lang available. So technically you are investing with BPI. Kung aggressive ang magiging profile mo (based on online risk assessment form), pwede ka mag-avail na ng UITF units like BPI Peso balanced funds.

Edit: Madami ang nagooffer ng mutual funds like sa Sun Life Insurance, hindi ka naman limited lang sa mga banko pero based on experience, convenient para sa akin if sa bangko na din like BDO and BPI

With Sun Life Mutual Funds, the MF Rep. will assist you open an account, initial minimum investment is only 5,000 and subsequent is 1,000.. For the subsequent investment, you just to deposit your investment to their accredited banks, and fax the order ticket together with your validated deposit slip..
With regards to redemption, no need to go to their office, just fax the order ticket and instruct them to deposit your cheque in your bank account..

Sa dami ng nagsasarang banko ano pa po pwedeng ways to invest our hard earned money?

Right now I have my money distributed as follows:

SDA - 50%
UITF - 25%
TD - 12.5%
TD with Small Banks - 12.5%

Any advice? I'm getting worried with these small banks closing.  I'm eyeing on Maybank and PSBank as the next banks where I will put my money in, any advice is appreciated.

Don't invest on small banks. Only invest on them if you can take some risks.

I don't consider Maybank a "small bank" because its Malaysia's no.1 biggest bank and hindi niya hahayaan masira siya thru Maybank Philippines which has already gained its reputation and expanding here.

Edit: Nope, I don't work at Maybank but I have banking connections.

Sorry I didn't mean Maybank is a small bank, this is why I'm eyeing on this bank as the next bank I will put my money in.  I used to work for their competitor bank, and I like Maybanks services which allows me to withdraw a good amount of cash through their ATM everytime I visit KL.

With your connections will you be able to recommend your top 5 banks to invest with that gives good interest rates on TD / Trust Accounts?
