If you want 'Insider Guide' of MLM in Phils, yung book ni Chinkee Tan gives you a better view what he has experience on doing MLM, professionally.

Anong book yan?

@george88

What's the point?
Just sharing knowledge.
That's why I like posting links from websites.
Don't you want to help people?
I can call it awareness...maybe?
I want people to be aware of how this business works.

Here's a great example (or analogy.. I don't know):

1) Have you ever seen someone cursing, hating, or suing PCSO because they did not win the jackpot?  Why haven't you?  Because they are aware that chances are slim when it comes to winning the lottery.
2) If only people are aware about their chances in most MLM companies, then we won't have (A LOT of) people ranting and ranting and ranting.
3) Let's say I joined an MLM company knowing that the chance of getting my investment back is 10% and chances of actually making significant money is 5%.  Don't you think I can easily accept if I don't make money even after following all the guidelines of the company?  I can say to myself: "Hey, that's alright, I know the chances are small yet I joined, okay, time to move on".
4) Most people don't realize this. They don't understand why they did not earn significant money yet they worked very hard and followed the guideline.

About the sex stuff...  what the...    hahaha   LOL
You don't see me sharing my experience in joining or selling or recruiting because I have no experience with that.

Anong book yan?

I saw that book in National Book Store - Megamall (right part).
I won't buy, have many sources on Internet anyway.

@Market Market that's cool... Really cool  :cool2:

So what's the point of wasting time posting here that you never try, never experience, and the knowledge you have is based on the virtual world?

It's like sharing an sexual experience wherein your ideas are based on xerex or any sexual topics found in internet. You never did it and the cool thing is you only do fapping... :bored:

i don't think you need to experience it first hand before you can comment  on it.
it can be experiences from other people you've heard, read or listened to where you base your inputs on.

I agree.
george88 is just confusing us.  LOL

@george88
No one is telling you what to believe, it is your decision.
Please ask yourself the same question that you ask pinoyinvesting, I think the answer is obvious.  And that is not what pinoyinvesting is saying.
I read somewhere here in MLM forum about a debate on this kind of scenario.  It even mentioned a policeman needs to be a criminal first in order to understand a criminal mind.  Also mentioned about not touching a hot kettle even though you haven't experience being burnt yet.

Do doctors need to be sick first before they can heal people?
let's burn all libraries then :D
and all forms of mentoring.
let's waste our time and resources by experiencing everything ourselves first before we learn our lessons.

Do doctors need to be sick first before they can heal people?

so in short, may actual experience, hindi puro libro lang.

malayo ang pagkakaiba ng taong may experience sa taong may narinig lang na info galing sa iba (lalo pa yung info may or may not be true). pag hearsay lang ang source of knowledge, it takes a good amount of logic and/or related experience para malaman mo yung totoo sa hindi.

pag walang experience ang isang tao, kailangan matindi ang logic at analytical skills nya.
pag may experience, malalim ang pinaghuhugutan at may conviction.

Agree ako kay Boss FE, ika nga, "experience is the best teacher". Kung may magbibigay ng motivational talk halimbawa, I would rather hear it from MVP who may be less eloquent than the top professional motivational speakers out there.

Its just a case to case basis. If you know the probability of the outcome, why bother doing it.

^ You attain a much higher probability/perform a better assessment if you are experienced.

ask yourself, why do doctors and all skilled professionals go through rigorous study AND practice? why 'bother' ?

There is nothing wrong with MLMs.  Just like any business venture, you need the right character, skills and attitude to succeed in MLM.  Good MLMs I know provide excellent training programs and seminars for their members.  Some of these training programs you can actually apply in other types of business.

Post Merge: Aug 05, 2012, 08:20 PM
Many people engaged in MLMs do not normally engage in open debates about their business. This is the reason why the number of negative opinions overwhelms the positives.

Unfortunately po, kadalasan po sa mga kumikita ng malaki ay yung mga nauna lang. Yung mga mahuhuli, aasa na lang po sa selling. Kaya maganda po sumali kung bago bago pa lang company.

Not exactly.
